Greetings everyone!
I just purchased an Aneros Volcano Pak. I thought that I couldn't go wrong there. This package includes the "classic" and "SGX" massagers, but I've yet to find anything good about either one. I spent a lot of money on this stuff, and I'd like to experience the same great "super O's" that everyone else seems to be having. When I use the Aneros massagers, all I feel is uncomfortable pressure, and the urge to deficate. I've followed the directions; what could I be doing wrong? Also after the second day of attempted usage, I noticed what appeared to be a small amount of blood on the massager after removal. Could this be due to a defective rough ended massager? (BTW I use the included ID Glide Lube.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Regards,
So often, people expect instant success.
I haven't experienced the 'super O' yet, and I've had my Aneros for a month or so now. I have, though, had a few glimpses of what something like it: enough to keep me practising.
Read the Bee-Line, adjust your mental attitude and you too might begin to experience something...different.
Shouldn't I worry that I may be causing internal bleeding? BTW do I really have to "psych" myself out in order to use an Aneros? How can I aquire the perfect mental state?
Thanks

i haven't experienced anything yet, but who says anything about psych-outs? it takes practice, dude. simple as that. don't expect instant results. everyone keeps saying that.
Gspotter,
First, with regard to drawing blood with the Aneros. In my own experience the only time that this ever occurred was in one of my initial sessions when I found myself working the Aneros in and out of my anus as if it were a dildo. Over the last year I have seen a handful of comments from different users who reported the same thing under the same circumstances. It is important to keep in mind that this device is anatomically designed (angled) so that it can yield the optimum response and pressure from anal contractions only . Manipulating the Aneros by hand in a vigorous manner should be avoided! Of course, I don't know that this is what you did it just that I haven't heard about anyone having this result under normal conditions (when used as outlined by the manufacturer). With respect to the unit being defective, certainly you should be able to determine if the body of the unit is rough by giving it a careful examination. As far as I know this would be a first (I've never seen anybody comment on this previously) however, if you do find a defect contact the manufacturer immediately.
In so far as some of your initial experiences are concerned, bear in mind they are very normal, particularly if one is new to anal play. After you become more accustomed to the Aneros, the sensation of feeling like you have to defecate will subside. Again, remember that you are just at the very beginning of a process . A process of exploration wherein you will discover a different means of arousal. One that IS NOT centered on your penis per se, but much deeper inside your body.
In terms of what the correct state of mind is; simply, one of openness, patience, and to a certain extent passivity.
Openness....a willingness to embrace the new subtle sensations that are the precursors of the Super O, versus those of the traditional orgasm.
Patience.... the willingness to put the time into learning about these new sensations and defer gratification while doing so (deferring gratification from the Super O that is,..there's nothing wrong with finishing off a Super O exploratory session with a penile orgasm). Just remember expectation can be a real deal breaker so don't go there (specially after 2 sessions!)
Passivity.....it is essential for the newbie to not be too cognitively engaged (to be thinking about it too hard). Yes, it is important to develop new tools for creating sensation, (anal, rectal and abdominal contractions, rhythmic breathing and mental focus), but the process of how one creates the recipe (how much of this or that) should remain fluid. Why? Because the very sensations that you're looking for are easily overlooked if one is too engaged in working at it!

Gspotter,
P.S. Since you did buy both the MGX and SGX you have the ability to make a more graduated introduction to this type of massager. That is, start with the SGX and once you become accustomed to it you may want to move up to the MGX.
With regard to the vibrating egg, I strongly urge you to avoid using it in any exploratory sessions . It might be fun as an adjunct to a traditional penile orgasm, or might even be employed by an experience user who has been able to cross-over to the Super O experience. But for the newbie who is looking to discover the Super O for the first time, it's nothing but sensory static ... again, AVOID IT !

To Gspotter and others who may have similar questions:
First off, it is most important not to try too hard to achieve results. Sometimes it is actually quite valuable to give up any goals or thoughts as to what to expect or to achieve with the Aneros. Rather than continuing to try to get results, just use the massager once or twice a week for about an hour. Try to completely relax and let go of all expectations. Almost to the point that you forget about it. The object of this is to relax the sphincter muscles enough so that the Aneros begins to move by itself. When this happens take note. Sometimes it is possible to encourage these subtle movements; other times it is best just to let them occur.
1. What body position should one be in while using the Aneros massagers?
Start by lying on your right side with left leg pulled up towards your torso. Retain this position for about 30 minutes. After that, slowly begin pulling your other leg upwards as far as possible while keeping the sphincter muscles relaxed. Now bend your legs slowly backwards so that you are essentially pushing your pelvis forward. Perform movements slowly back and forth, taking note of your preferences.
2. How much lube is required?
If you have a small medicine dropper, 2-3 ML inserted inside the anus should be adequate.
3. Why does blood appear on the end of the device upon removal?
This is not desirable and could indicate too much pressure or manipulation of the device. DO NOT use the vibrating bullet. DO NOT move the device with your hand. However, a small trace of blood is not really significant if it does not continue or is not accompanied by pain. Wait longer between Aneros usage (2-3 days). Increase the amount of lubricant used. Focus less on sphincter contractions and more on allowing the sphincter muscles to relax fully and completely before performing contractions. For now, do not use the device for more than 1 hour at a time.
4. Should Aneros usage feel uncomfortable?
While it is probably not something that you would have been accustomed to previously, it shouldn't be that uncomfortable. Again, don't force anything. Take a hot shower, have a glass of wine, dim the lights or take whatever measures will help you relax. Use more lubricant, and try warming the lubricant to body temperature before hand.
5. Why does my Aneros "Classic" feel rough or abrasive on the end? Would this be the cause of question # three?
It may be due to the two bumps or nodules on the end. The massager should be smooth, as it has been sanded by hand. However, please inspect the massager for any irregularities of surface. Please describe any roughness in more detail. Also, try to stick with the SGX if the Classic is less comfortable.
6. Is an enema required to properly use the Aneros?
No, not at all, but some people find that it helps to relax the musculature and remove any extraneous matter.
7. Do I really have to modify the abutment tabs for comfort as suggested in the forums?
No, definitely not recommended at this stage. This should only be done once you have a full understanding of the process and is only advisable under certain conditions. Try to work more with the SGX for now and note any differences between the two massagers.
Please let us know if you have further questions, but try the above recommendations for a week or two.
Best wishes,
I've been experiencing varied results.
One thing I've been wondering about is what B Mayfield means when he suggests 'focussing on the prostate': I don't know how it feels.
I had a bit of a revelation the other day. It occured to me that maybe the 'wanting to pee' feeling that many people experience might be the prostate.
I've been trying to feel that area and things have got better. I find a useful technique is to imagine that light is shining from deep inside me, in the rectum, and out of my penis. It helps me relax and the contractions people mention - the deep involuntary ones - have begun to happen regularly.
Something else that's been holding me back is the feeling that I might pee myself. I've found that making sure my bladder is empty, and then relaxing in just such a way that might make me pee myself, induces very pleasant feelings, and my anus starts contracting very pleasurably.
Today, while relaxing with the Aneros, my heart started beating rapidly and my body filled with a very pleasant warmth. Not long after this I had a few very good waves of pleasure, which I'm sure are the precursor to the 'super O' but I'm still unconsciously expecting hands-free ejaculation or an erection...my body is gradually being 'rewired', and now it's a mental challenge.

Just for the record; I read and followed all included directions, and I have never tried to manually move the Aneros massagers in and out of my anus. Manytimes my anal sphincter just automatically contracts very vigorously upon initial insertion of the massager. I would assume this would be normal. I have no idea where the blood may have came from, but to my knowledge it is not happening any longer. Thanks for the tips and pointers.

Best wishes,
I have purchase the Helix and the start feeling of pushing it inside the annus really seems good. But after that will the aneros slide itself in and out of the annus? or do we only contract the musscles to create movement of the aneros. This means aneros will not slide in and out but through contraction create forward and backward movement.
This is my 4th time trying for 2 hours but no orgamsm. Maybe i need more relaxation.
Pls help to explain
regards
Hao
I think you need more relax. Though I bought aneros MGX a week ago, and I didn't have Super O yet but I felt something different now. keep trying to feel it. it'll be good to use a pair of earplug and blindfold to concentrate.
Keep trying, then the result will comes up for you.
I have the MGX for one month now and haven't had the super O yet either. I have felt feelings that i was very nearby though.
some good feelings: a feeling that my glans was "heaten" from inside (VERY pleasurable), hartbeating, and new feelings deep inside.
and i have experienced that the stronger i contract my sphincter (and keep it as long as i can), the more intense the feeling becomes. But no orgasms yet..
i have trained my PC muscle a lot the last years (!) and i feel that i have quite some control on it ("rolling your contraction" from rear to front - does anyone has the same experience?
i can keep the MGX infor several hours but it does not increase the "mood" for an orgasm until now. I feel the best moment about 30 minutes after start - but not yet the orgasm..
if anyone has tips please tell them. I like this forum very much.
Paul
Sounds like you are off to a start. Keep at it. It takes time (although I am not claiming super O, just good suff!) I found reading different posts on beeline and here helpful but keeping with it and "listening" to my body has helped a lot.
Good luck!

Hi,
the many posts I read on this forum helped me on my journey so far and after last night's new heights I feel I have to give back a little.
I am a fresh user of the aneros but not new to anal pleasures since I am gay, both active and passive and have been playing occasionaly with dildos. When I saw the aneros and read a few posts I thought: this is for me!
The MGX and Helix arrived last week and I gave myself a test ride with them. The first two sessions I had were dissapointing as nothing happened. Nothing. Except I could feel the aneros in my rectum and that was it.
After that I tried to follow the advice to relax, kneel, do nothing... for some reason I think I was triying too hard. On the third session I contracted my sphincter muscles, thighs, just about everything I could and it got me into some sort of spasms with a rocking pelvic motion. I could definitely feel the aneros and the tab this time, generating a wee bit of pleasure but what seemed to be very little for such an effort. Anyway I was making progress.
Then I read someone's post about differentiating between all the mucles involved in order to fine tune the effect... easier said than done. But I tried and noticed that if I concentrated on my anal sphincter and then added contractions of the muscles that control your peeing, somehow the plesure seemed a bit higher. But still: no waves, no butterflies, no groaning... I was becoming jealous!
On my fourth or fifth session something different happened: After using the aneros for an hour and calling it a day with only slight improvement, I terminated the session by masturbating and as the previous times my orgasm was a bit stronger and copious than normal. I took the aneros out and went to sleep. When I woke up, I could still feel my sphincter muscles and contracted them a few times. A very short but definite hit of pleasure went through my body! I was so surprised as I had done nothing more than contract my muscles with no aneros in. The pleasure was akin to what I experience when I make love.. only shorter. This definitely encouraged me to continue as I was feeling that I was making little steps forward every session.
Yesterday I came home tired from a very busy week at work. Went to bed at 1 am and decided to try and sleep with the aneros in. As ever afer the first sessions I used the MGX as I like it better.
After a relatively short time (15?30? mins) I was where I'd been before but I then tried to avoid squeezing my butt too much or rocking my pelvis and lay still. When contracting and moving the aneros inside I tried to feel if there was a place that seemed more sensitive. When there I would try to just keep the toy pressing there, not thinking about my contraction or breathing, and I tried to get "into" the feeling mentally, concentrating on the pleasure created, however small. This resulted in stronger feelings but I could not sustain them very long; however I was now really starting to enjoy this. Then on one occasion I got a glimpse of what was ahead I guess: a warmer, deeper, stronger feeling started to radiate within my pelvis, at the same time my legs experienced a fast but low amplitude vibration. This was very nice and I tried to find how to keep it but again lost it after a while.
Tired I decided to end the session with a hand job and had a very strong orgasm, rocking around and comming profusely, despite having done so several days in a row ( and I am no 20 year old...). I went to sleep after playing a bit with contractions without the aneros that brought little pleasures all worth feeling.
I don't know how long I slept but I was woken up by a sharp surge of pleasure going through my body. I loved it even though I was quite taken by surprise. My body felt very sensitive and my anal area even more so; I couldn't resist giving it another try, so I put a little bit of lube on my Helix and in it went. I experienced more waves that I couldn't make last but enjoyed them as they came. Then, and for the first time ever since I embarked on this journey, I felt a very strong erection. I was too tired to last very long so I played with myself again and had another very strong and wet orgasm.
I haven't had the super one, I know that, but every session had something more to offer and I feel that my body is slowly awakening and offering me more and more enjoyable moments. I haven't read here of someone experiencing "pangs" of pleasure that woke them up but would like to hear from your experiences. I am very interested to see where this leads and just a bit anxious that I may become addicted(!)
This is the first "place", virtual or other, where I have seen men share such intimate feelings, regardless of their origins or sexual orientations. And I am touched. All because of this little bit of plastic we are playing with...
