I have been using Aneros for about 3 years now. It took me six months to have my first really pleasurable session and I thought I had 'arrived'. Ok, I have never had a mind-blowing Super-O of the types that some forum members have described, but by very pleasurable I mean much better than the pleasure from conventional penis orientated sex in both duration and intensity. Every now and than I have a few wonderfully pleasurable sessions, then suddenly I have a series of dud sessions. There seems no rhyme or reason to this though. Abstinence between sessions sometimes helps, but once I had a fantastic time, ending with a Super T, then an hour later I was ready for another session and it was just as good! The big variable seems to be the 'sweetness' of the sensations on my prostate. Last Sunday and Monday I had exquisite sessions, but this week the sessions have been duds- agreeable certainly, but very disappointing. Any ideas? Or is this very normal and do other users find the same?
Hello, Oscar.
I'd bet your experience is common. I don't know if what I experience is related to your "great vs. dud" situation. A number of times, I've had sessions that start out in a promising way, then "die." I didn't figure out what the problem was until I got the Vice and tried to use the vibe. The Vice session would start well, then I'd turn on the vibe and everything would stop; dead-end session. After a break, I could re-start and get a good session without the vibe.
Turned out that what was happening was the vibe caused my body to tense up even though I thought I was relaxed. Muscle tension is a session-killer. In your case, maybe you aren't aware that certain muscle groups tense up on you sometimes when you aren't "watching." Maintaining a fully relaxed state is difficult when pleasurable sensations start to happen. Being aware of this effect is the first step in dealing with it. I use breath control to maintain relaxation, but other methods may work for you. Then, there are times when nothing seems to prevent tensing and the best you can hope for is to re-start after a short break.
Best Regards,
Dave
