I've been training and experimenting with Aneros for a couple of years now, nothing too serious, mostly on an off. To this day, I still haven't felt anything close to pleasure from any of my Aneros toys (tried several of them). The only experience I've had are these crazy spasmodic seizures which I wrote about in this post: INTENSE "electrical" BUZZING and "seizures" throughout my entire body, what is this?
I almost gave up on prostate play, but I decided to try an NJOY Pure Wand. Lo and behold... When I let it in, I immediately felt it coming into contact with the prostate, for the first time I could feel something press on my prostate, and it felt good! I applied some more pressure, and I suddenly understood what fuzz about the prostate was all about, it felt terrific, and I had just inserted this thing. Thrusting back and forth with brought me to the verge of orgasm, though not quite over the edge.
Is this the kind of pleasure some people describe when inserting the Aneros toys? In that case, I'm jealous! I feel nothing when inserting the Aneros toys, only something faint when using the Progasm. Anyway, using the NJOY wand was the first sign to me that the prostate can produce pleasurable feelings. I've tried several toys and dildos since then including Vixen Maverick and Lelo Hugo, both of which are also capable of bringing me close to orgasm (though I can't get myself over the edge).
I've tried the Aneros toys again after my recent discovery of prostate pleasure, but still, nothing. Not even the Progasm can shake things up back there, I only get these "energy seizures" I mentioned, which is not pleasurable, just weird and frightening.
Any ideas? Have anyone else experienced this problem? Seems like my prostate requires big toys which produce a lot of pressure on the prostate to feel pleasure.

When you say "...brought me to the verge of orgasm," are you referring to the PONR (point of no return) like in traditional penile masturbation? If that is so then you may be deluding yourself in respect to prostate based orgasmic responses. It may help if you were to re-read the Super-O definition in the WIKI, the thread What's an Orgasm? and @Buster 's thread What exactly is a Super-O? to get a wider perspective of what a Super-O is in reality.

Perhaps, but there is no way of really comparing these ineffable sensations and making yourself jealous is only going to enhance your frustration.

It may be that you do need more pressure on your prostate than any of the Aneros massagers can generate in order to generate an orgasmic response though I suspect that is not the case. You may still be fooling yourself by expecting some type of sensation which may never occur. Please see Super-O Myths & Illusions regarding 'the Edge' and a couple of other myths. Also, please read @neros thread The Myth of Super Orgasm.

I think those ..."energy seizures"... may, in fact, be prostate based orgasms to which you have not yet mentally assigned pleasurable attributes. What you described in your thread INTENSE "electrical" BUZZING and "seizures" throughout my entire body, what is this? is very similar to my description of my first Super-O.

I have my doubts your prostate actually requires a lot of pressure to feel pleasure, the fact that numerous men are able to achieve prostate orgasms Anerosless attests to the fact that these orgasms are largely a result of the paradigm shift in thinking about how one achieves orgasmic states. Have other people experienced your problem?...yes they have but it is surmountable. Here are some ideas to help you.
First, I recommend you learn how to deeply relax your body. Please see @darwin 's post relax, relax, RELAX and then read @rook 's post in A Question about Breathing for some helpful tips and information links. You can also read Deep Belly Breathing and Relaxing (a file I downloaded many years ago authored by Temple University Professor R. Hicks, unfortunately no longer available online). This should help you avoid hyperventilating.
Second, I recommend you read Identifying Facilitators to Progress to optimize your Anerosession setting.
Third, please read the thread "Just Let Go !"
Good Vibes to You !
@rumel I agree with Rumel
Before I got into using aneros I tried a number of dildos and toys and fingers. Direct pressure on the prostate gave me good sensations and gave me a sort of urge to release, which I equated with a mounting orgasm. I even ejaculated hands-free from it, but it was without an accompanying orgasm. And paired with traditional masturbation it is very pleasurable, as is pegging or any other anal play. But the difference between that direct forced pressure and the gentle massage of a hands-free non-vibrating toy is unfathomable. While there is nothing inherently wrong with pleasuring yourself directly with your wand, I highly recommend sticking to aneros toys, because the pleasure one can glean from them is other-worldly. Some guys here take years to discover the secrets of their prostates, and there is nothing wrong with that. I can tell you it is worth the effort. The close-to-orgasms I had with dildos, fingers and my lelo Hugo were fun physical sensations. On the other hand, the orgasms I have with my aneros toys are of a physical intensity I never believed possible, coupled with psycho-spiritual sensations that rival the best meditation and drugs out there. Don’t give up the gentle prostate play, and heed rumel’s advice!
Wow, thank you thank you thank you @rumel !!! You must be the Buddha or Jesus of prostate orgasms, it's wonderful to have a person with such experience as you to talk to! Thanks for sharing and helping a brother out! I'll gladely read and re-read those links!

No, it's different, sort of... Imagine a car engine which max out at 9000rpm's. 1k is no pleasure, and 10k is orgasm (I think), I reach 9000rpm's with the wand, but then I'm "maxed out"... the pleasure is intense, but I don't orgasm, and the pleasure stops the second I stop moving the wand. It feels impossible to cross over the edge. In fact, it feels as if there's no edge at all, that 9k is as good as it gets and there's no 10k, that's how it feels.. did any of that make sense?:p
Thanks for sharing @divine_oblivion, your situation sounds identical to mine! You and our prostate guru @rumel have motivated me to get back to practicing the art of prostate orgasms, thanks a bunch!
...@rumel !!! You must be the Buddha or Jesus of prostate orgasms,
Please. Please, Please do not make such comparative references, my ego is already big enough to pose my own stumbling blocks. I'm am just a veteran Aneros user who has encountered a wide range of experiences in this mysterious adventure I call the Aneros Journey. It has fascinated me to try and understand the physical and psychological reasons for why we men can experience these extraordinary sensations and I merely try to convey some of that learning to the newbies just beginning their own personal journeys. I think all men should at least have the opportunity to explore this rich aspect of their being and give them the tools with which to do so.

While I follow your metaphor of the car engine I think there may be a basic flaw in equating 'orgasm' with max. RPM's, there is no reason to define that as at the limit of physical ability. That's like saying you can only experience orgasm at the 'red line' of your body, I don't believe that. I rather think of orgasm as a continuum akin to torque output and the RPM's to physical intensity. Now to extend that metaphor even further, the factory supplied engine (your prostate) is a beautifully designed piece of equipment but you can improve its performance by fine tuning (exercise), supplemental devices (prostate massagers), enhanced fuel (good diet) and judicious operating manner (practice regime). I agree with you that "...there's no edge at all," and it makes sense if your ' supplemental device' ceases working, performance of the engine will not be optimal. This is where your choice of supplemental device (Njoy vs. Aneros) comes into play, one device requires more energy resources to function than the other which then affects the ultimate performance possibility. When you have to use your brain and arm muscles to consciously maneuver the Njoy device you are using energy which could have been used like nitrous oxide to boost fuel potential for an alternate device.
Moral of the metaphor: A properly functioning engine need not be run at maximum RPM to be useful, in fact , running at the 'sweet spot' on the torque curve is where optimal efficiency is achieved.

Well, I'm not gonna say it, but your last reply @rumel cast more validity to my first claim (which I'm not suppose to talk about ;)) You're a master at explaining things, that is at least nothing but the truth, so thanks again for helping straighten some things out, much appreciated!
Damn, @rumel. I don't know crap about cars. I don't even know how to drive one. But that's some hot metaphor you got going on!
I’ve had the same experience.
Tried helix, eupho, pro ice, max T.
Other than fleeting bursts of good feels, not much in the way of continuous pleasure.
I got a pure wand and have run it two times. Out of the gate it was more like what I have been expecting from my p-spot.
No big O, but I could see that happening.
I’m thinking it may help me get woke more down the road.
Not giving up on the aneros, but this thing is a little bit of magic.

It sure is a magic wand! But yeah, @rumel has convinced me – I'm not giving up on the Aneros quite yet 🙂
How do you even use the wand? I've got one, and the instructions mention "a rocking motion", but I'm not sure what that means. I've been using mine as kind of a Wise-Anderson device, pressing on the muscles and trigger points, but beyond physio, I don't think I'm using it right.
Just quit trying so hard. I think the whole thing of labeling and trying so hard to achieve the labeled experience is the biggest mistake. I do not even like to use the term Super O anymore. If you have a session and it feels good, ask yourself what you did that caused it to fell good. What would make it feel even better?. Mix it up, experiment, and try different approaches keeping those things that work and discarding what doesn't work. Take some time to reflect upon each session. You will get there.

I use it just like a dildo, thrusting it back and forth. Thanks to its curve, it gives the prostate a solid and wonderful massage. I've never quite understood the idea of "rocking motion" as you mentioned. Some talk about using while lying on their stomach. How that's suppose to work is beyond me, but hey, if it works it works, I'm just curious how that would look, maybe we're missing something 🙂
Just quit trying so hard.
I think this is a sound advice, thanks for sharing!

Good advice.
Sometimes people get too obsessed with it all, which is a barrier to progress.
If you have a session and it feels good, ask yourself what you did that caused it to fell good. What would make it feel even better?
What if none of your sessions feel good, for years?
If you did not have a good session, how will you know what to do to make it feel good?
Mix it up, experiment, and try different approaches keeping those things that work and discarding what doesn't work. Take some time to reflect upon each session.
This could work if the feedback cycle is short.
Unfortunatley, the rewiring process for Aneros I believe is quite long - weeks, months, maybe years. It would be diffficult to associate something that you did on the most recent session as the specific thing to emulate and reproduce, if all the rewiring efforts prior to that session also had some known or unknown impact.
You will get there.
I appreciate your good intentions, however that's wishful thinking.

I have three Njoy toys, the medium plug, the exlarge plug, and the wand. The rocking motion is not side to side, but a gentle thrust up, and and letting it rock back down. I have been using Aneros (regular Helix, Progasm, and Peridse) for about 5 years, and have had good results, not the super O, but rather dry orgasms, with the end result of having a real horney prostate. I switch off with Njoy, starting with the medium plug after watching lots of porn to get in the mood. It slides in slowly, I allow myself to feel every bit of the tensing and throbbing that starts when it moves in, relaxing and letting go, then ever so gentle slow kegels, resulting in a rock hard throbbing ass and prostate. Once that starts I experience a new level of pleasure, like walking through a door, this pleasure is hard to describe, more like bliss. After a while, I relax, and slide in the large end of the wand, slow rocking motions up and down, sliding the end of the wand up, and rocking it slowly down. The pleasure waves are consistent, sometimes it will milk my prostate which is a different experience, every time I ride the toys, things get better, almost like I leave off where I left off during the previous session. The extra large plug, which I think weighs over 2#, is like the medium plug but on a turbo, my ass goes crazy when it slides inside. To make my journey a bit more complicated, I have nerve issues on my lower spine, and I think this has kept me back for experiencing pleasure. I have found that being consistent and taking time has brought me benefits of pleasure. I feel to make progress one has to go slow, to go fast, slowing down to feel my body react to the toys. The Njoy toys have improved my Aneros experience to the point where sliding in the Progasm now locks up against the prostate, then the throbbing starts. My progress started by slowing down to feel the new sensations. I strongly agree, reflection brings joy, it continues to take me to new levels of pleasure.
I was having a similar situation as the OP. I did not want to bring up Njoy because I thought I was not allowed to mention non-Aneros products. I have had moderate success with the Njoy Pure Wand. Like the OP I can get close but not over the edge.
I think the problem therein is related to what @rumel and many others have mentioned. We need to eliminate the idea about effort leading to result. It is a process we need to allow to happen. Basically, the entire opposite of a traditional penile orgasm.
Now that I think about it, I have had more success with the Njoy Pure Plug. I think for the reason I just mentioned. With a plug, or Aneros for that matter, you insert it and it stays in place, with minimal if any movement. I recently got the Progasm Ice. I think my body is still getting used to it.
While on the Njoy Wand topic I will end with this. Every time I have used it, the session ends in either an ejaculation or I force myself to quit before ejaculation. While it feels great to screw myself with a wand (as close to being feminine as I can get) I think this is going about it the wrong way and will actually impede progress toward the Super O. Again, because the activity with the Wand is reinforcing the idea of action leads to result, then it is counter productive.
How do you even use the wand?

I'm pretty sure that you did it right, and still doing I hope! Anyway, it helped my potency(magic prostate feelings)
