With respect to a weakened connection, it's hard to be certain about the cause but over-stimulation is often the culprit. I learned long ago that just as the prostate can be over-stimulated, so can ones nipples. There are times when it's necessary to back off to avoid this. Some people have the tendency to increase intensity when there's a loss of sensation. The problem is after ramping up several times ones nipples can go numb! When this happens the nipple - prostate connection is lost. In some cases this extends beyond the session as well.

It is possible to re-program nipple sensitivity through the coupling of subtle nipple play with another source of stimulation...for example stroking your penis while gently stroking your nipples. From there the goal is to transition to different, even more subtle types of stimulation, such as anal contractions, perineal and/or testicular play. Another essential element is to avoid static stimulation...keep it dynamic by constantly changing up the intensity and pacing of stimulation. I have had some very minor dry Os without anything in my ass while stimulating my nipples.
