So I'm looking at the We-Vibe for my wife. We are a bit older 60ish, and we have both lost a little of the ability to reach an orgasm but still enjoy a healthy sex life. If I read the description correctly the We-Vibe can be used during intercourse, is this correct, is it comfortable, is it effective?

Thanks

Hello Sierrajoe, 🙂

And welcome to the Aneros forum.

While your definitely off topic for this forum, particularly for your first post. We generally all love talking about sexuality, and all kinds of different sex toys, so no worries. I suspect you are not going to get lots of responses about this here. But I could be wrong. I directed another user I know who has tried this toy with his wife to give you his perspective. But I think the best source of information will be user generated comments about it from the various sex toy web sites that sell it. For example:

We-Vibe II - Vibrators: Electric Vibrators - We-Vibe II at Babeland
54 reviews

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: We Vibe II
8 reviews

On the other hand for yourself...
Have you tried any of the Aneros prostate massager models yet? I know a lot of older men here have talked about them being quite helpful with their sex sessions with their partners. Perhaps those guys could also chime in with their thoughts.

Thanks for the great advice, I guess I'm not a great navigator but you have been very helpful.
Sincerely,
Sierra Joe

Hi, Sierrajoe!

I wish I could provide favorable information regarding the We-Vibe, but my wife tried it once and declared it 'too distracting'. 🙁 It sits in our toy drawer unused, even though I have tried to talk her into trying it again on several occasions.

It does work in that you can still engage in traditional intercourse while the device is inserted. I liked the feeling of the vibration on my penis from the inner component. From the other testimonials I've read, I believe that we are a bit of an oddity, so please try to stay positive about the product. It's simple to use, the charge lasts a long time (I'd bet several sessions if you were typically orgasmic), and it cleans up in a snap. It's made of silicone, so don't use a silicone lube with it or you'll end up with a sticky, gooey toy!

If you decide to get it, please come back to this thread and let us know what you think....

Hello Sierrajoe.
The wife and I have had many a good session involving the Helix and MGX models.
Here is an entry from my blog.
Its title is "As time passes by".

"The wife got curious last month about my 2 friends.
I said that she did not have a prostate so it would do no good.
Anyway she wanted to try it.
I let her try the Helix. I got the MGX.
We had intercourse and she said it made her feel as if she wanted to go to the toilet but not an unplesant feeling.
A funny thing happened when I orgasamed.
The feeling was more intense but the MGX shot out of me and landed down the bed. Nothing followed it thankfully.
A reverse ejaculation lol.

We tried again a few days later swopping models.
The Helix stayed put during orgasm. Also more intense than without it.
The wife had much the same feelings about going to the toilet.

We had a third session.
It started with her inserting the MGX.
She was on top in her faviourite cowgirl position.
After a while I felt on the point of orgasm and attempted to stop her.
Too late, I gave a little spasam.
Oh no ! Thats it I thought.
As quick as I could I disengaged and inserted my Helix.
An Electric jolt from Prostate to penis tip.
Agood firm erection and I was off again.
We were both happy with the result a bit later."

Give the Aneros a try.
It might be the ticket.

I am evergreen's DEAR ONE and I don't know what we will try in the future but so far, what the aneros has done for evergreen has benefited me enormously.I no longer have to worry about him going soft. My orgasms are longer and more intense.I credit this to being able to clamp down on a rock hard erection and scratch the itch until I am fully satisfied. This probably doesn't help much, just my two cents worth.
best wishes
