I've been using the helix for the past month or so, and with good results. But for some reason over the past couple weeks I just haven't been getting anywhere with it. It's almost as if the associated sensation has decreased.

First few few times I used it gave me involuntary contractions, erection etc. now I use it, and I can barely feel it, and I get none of the contractions or anything.

anyone else have this problem? I feel like there is some aspect I am over looking.

That happened to me when i was re wired. The first two weeks were great, then I had a couple of dud sessions. Probably some mental expectations I had to let go of "here i am starting a session, i hope it's better than last time."

If you are open to smoking weed, try that. Usually is a 100% sure fire way to get things started for me. (I've never not had multiple orgasms when I tried and had smoked a bit)

I think that's honestly the problem. Having achieved such success already, it caused me to sub consciously walk into a session with a goal or expectation. Rather than watching the finish line, I need to do better to focus on the moment, and let it happen organically.

This is honestly getting frustrating. Every time I do any sort of prostrate stimulstion, it's less intense than the last time.

Ive tried quieting my kind, relaxing, focusing on my prostate etc. but I'm getting no where. I've gone from the most powerful irgasns if my life to nothing, and it's getting kinda depressing. I'm mulling over what I've done in previous sessions where I got more out of it, and comparing to my more recent sessions that were so unsuccessful, and I fail to see what I've done wrong. The pieces are there, but it's like I've forgotten how to use them.

I really need help here, preferably from someone who has been in this position before. I'm on the verge of abandoning the effort.

Also, I'm not sure if frequency has anything to do with it (about every other day), but I haven't gotten the buzz everyone seems to talk about beckoning them to have another session.

Brou it seems like you've got a lot of expectations starting to creep into your sessions. Sorry bud but that is a sure fire recipe for dissapointment.
This aspect of the journey is one of the hardest to manage. Believe me I was exactly the same at first. We all want the big o's so badly we go into our sessions with that goal....and only that goal in mind. That is exactly the wrong approach to take.
For me, the big turn around came when I let go and said screw it....I don't care about a super o. All I want to do is relax and enjoy what my body gives me. If all I get is the pleasant sensation of having my helix inside me then so be it. I'll enjoy it for what it is and be grateful to my body for giving me the pleasure. I discovered that once I disconnected 'me' from 'my body' I started making nice progress. Your body is in charge here, not you. You're only along for the ride. Your body and your mind want to give you pleasure, but you have to give it the time it needs to learn how to do it.
I guess what I'm trying to say is relax, focus on what your body is giving you NOW...not what you want it to give you later, and not what it did or didnt give you before. Feel every sensation...every little twitch here, every little tingle there. Enjoy those sensations for what they are and soon you will be getting better ones.
One last thing to keep in mind....the progress you make will not be linear. There will be times when everything is going great and then all of a sudden you'll go through a time like you are now where it basically just feels like you got something stuck up your bum. Don't be disheartened by this. It happens to all of us, even once we are rewired. Again, just relax and enjoy what you do get. The rest will come back. 😉

Makes me feel better hearing that actually. I had heard horror stories of people losing it and not getting it back, had me worried I suppose. Wrapping my mind around a goal of not having goals, especially after a lifetime of going into these sorts of things with an end objective in mind.

In addition to relaxing, do you attempt any manual contractions to get things moving, or relax completely and just let my body decide when to do it on its own?i really appreciate the input!

Yeah, it is really a mind flip to go from a lifestyle of ego consciousness, willful, assertive, action oriented, rational, planned and structured activity to a mindset of passive acceptance of and listening to the quiet inner language of your body as the deep reservoir of your subconscious ever so slowly bubbles into your conscious awareness. Having no expectations and being in the moment are pretty alien concepts to most men in our highly industrialized, high tech, high competition work-a-day world, but that is exactly what is necessary to get into the Super-O zone. @karvec1959 gave you some excellent advice, please re-read it a couple of times and let it sink in.

The Aneros journey is more than 90% a mental exercise (I think it is more like 95+%) and the physical techniques one employs are the last 5%-10%. It seems to me you may be focusing on those physical techniques for your solution rather than upon the larger issues which may be the real obstacles. May I suggest you read @rook 's thread Whole Body/Whole Mind - the mental side & my post "zoneros" for a little insight. Then follow that up with Identifying Obstacles to Progress. On the more physical aspect of the journey please check out my thread Identifying Facilitators to Progress. While other members may offer you suggestions about how to relax, what kind of contractions to perform, etc. it will all still boil down to you finding the unique combination of techniques, environment and mental state that suits your unique personality. This requires you to be open minded, adventuresome and patient as you move forward.
Good Vibes to You !
