Hello everyone,
I've been an Aneros user since November and I just wanted to get some advice on "rewiring" so I can make some more progress. The first model I bought was an MGX and I've been following the steps provided on the wiki and from this forum: relaxing, breathing, no direct stimulation, contractions, etc. I typically have 2 sessions a week for 2-3 hours.
The most common position/method that I try during my sessions is on my back and a mix of the "do nothing" method and contractions. The only reaction I've gotten so far came about a month into using the MGX: I had it in for about 20 minutes when all of a sudden I got an erection and felt really good sensations in my pelvis (I sure it was either p-waves or a mini-o, wasn't as intense as a regular orgasm but felt really good). It lasted maybe 2 minutes and I've only been able to repeat it one other time (which was much less intense). Since then I haven't really gotten anywhere with my sessions even after trying other positions and working on my pc muscles.
I thought maybe I needed a longer model to hit my prostate better (I'm 6'2") so I ordered a Helix two weeks ago but they sent me a Progasm instead. It certainly is more filling but nothing new has come out of it as well so far.
I'm pretty sure I can control my pc and sphincter muscles now but for some reason I don't really feel my Prostate being massaged or any real "pleasureful" sensations down there except for the 2 times I mentioned. I do on occasion feel a pulsating sensation in my rectum after doing contractions for a while but nothing really pleasureful. Even traditional orgasms don't feel enhanced with it in. The only thing that it does to me during my sessions is make me pee 3-4 times during my sessions (even after peeing before I start one).
So is there anything that I could do to help my progress at this point?
Sorry if this was too long, I just wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything.

I'm in the same boat as you, but I've been a rider since 2010. My best advice is don't give up, and don't expect anything. I mean that as don't look for a super-O, it is a shy beast.
The best way to describe it (if you are a Nintendo era person), is the ghosts in Super Mario 3, as long as you are looking at them, they don't move, but once you aren't paying attention, they start creepin up on you. Lol! I have no idea if you get the analogy, but I'm sure you get the idea.
You also really have to remember that this is NOT like a penile orgasm. This is something that won't hit you in the same way. This is a completely new feeling (feelings), so pay attention to ALL of the little feelings (pleasurable or not), and over time your brain will pick up all the little specs of feelings, then it will start connecting the dots, and after more of those pieces are connected, things will start amping up, and the picture will soon start to become visible, that's when you will see the Mona Lisa of Orgasms. Just remember, that this Mona Lisa will start with a blank canvas, this isn't a paint by number.
Another thing that will help you relax, is to get aroused before hand (not touching), then insert the aneros, and start relaxing by forgetting that you were horny, and make sure there are no distractions. after you feel that you are relaxed, wait anouther 5 or 10 minutes.
After you have relaxed, have a porn on your laptop/phone/tv, and watch for a minute (I like to watch female orgasm compilations and imagine what she is feeling build up inside of her...and look at her tits, lol!), after you feel a bit of arousal build, turn it off, and relax, close your eyes, and feel everything from your balls back. Forget about ejaculatory build ups completely. Look for small feelings that you haven't felt before, and only new feelings, then concentrate and try and MENTALLY build on those by picturing them. As odd as it is, I always find myself picturing my girlfriends hard nipple rubbing wherever the feelings are, and stimulating that area (don't ask, that is just where my mind goes, when I let it imagine what it wants to. Not only that, but I have gained a new fetish for playing with her nipples...Double whammy!)
Another thing I do is make sure I'm not tense. I often realize that my abs have tightened without me even noticing. I like to lay on my back, legs bent, and feet flat on the bed. I also don't contract anything during my session, because I feel that if I'm concentrating on contractions, I will miss all of the wonderful little feelings. I feel that if our ass muscles can hold a shit, they can contract on their own when the time comes...So to combat the tightening of my abs I try and relax my shoulders and head and almost press them onto my pillow/bed, and use the opposite muscles to open up my abs, and stomach. I have to do this repeatedly throughout the session, and OFTEN find that my abs tense as soon as I start to relax, so I repeat, and get back to the little feelings. Over and over
Hope this helped. Get back to me with any feedback, and remember: New feelings only, no matter how small or different they seem (From the balls back. I do realize that erections, and feelings happen, but as a start forget the penis); Relax, relaxation is key. This is a mind/body orgasm, not one meant for procreation; last, keep those abs in check!
@Johnee Awesome! I enjoyed the reference to one of my favorite games of all time. 😉
I agree this whole aneros experience is like a boo from the super mario world or like holding wet soap, you squeeze too hard and it's gonna go flying.

OK I back with an update (sorry it took so long)
I had a session this past weekend and I tried some of the things you talked about. During the session, I managed to get aroused (have an erection) without touching myself but I still didn't feel any sensations on my prostate the entire time. I will note that I didn't have a lot of sleep a few days leading up to the session (which made the concentrating a little harder since I kept dosing off). I do think you're on to something with just "feeling every little thing" that goes on during the session. It should help with the awakening/rewiring process.
I don't ever have any real expectations when using the Aneros, I'm just a little excited to see where my sessions will take me when I have one.
That's fine. I built those untouched erections into hands free wet orgasms, using a TON of concentration. It wasn't long after that, that I started to notice the new sensations. I still cannot find my prostate in times of desperate finger exploring, but sometimes when I'm watching porn/lurking the forum/or just thinking about a session I feel a little warm tickling feeling above my balls and behind my penis. It's like the piss-shudder that you get during a good pee, but small and concentrated in that one area.
Try picturing the head of the aneros, and try to identify where it ends in your bum. When I did this, I could feel it, but it almost felt as if I had a numb spot down there. Then I had a quick involuntary contraction, and it felt like a quick shot of pleasure shot from my Helix, to my Prostate and out. I ruined my session trying to replicate the feeling, and forcing it, but every once in a while I'll have a smaller version of it a few times in a row.
Like everyone says, the Super-O is elusive, and it is a shy beast. I have not experienced it yet (that I know of). But here is another great 80's reference: If you have seen the movie 'The Thing' (I saw it for the first time recently). I was laughing because the 'Thing' reminds me of a super-O: You never know where it is hiding; you don't know what form it will be in, because it really doesn't have a shape/feeling; when you hunt for it it hides; and when you aren't ready, it strikes and you realize it was right there in front of you hiding away as something else (another feeling/thought
All I can tell you is to keep it up. Your body will go through many changes in the process, and new experiences will start to happen. your mind will change, and so will your thought processes on many things. It is great, and even helps practice good patience, and discipline
Post back soon!
Johnnie!
@chosen_one: based on my experience you are right on track. At some point in the coming month or so you should begin to have some pleasureable sensations. Take all the advice you can get from the great bunch of fellow journeyers ( is that a word?). Anyhow, keep expectations low and be ready to be surprised. I am not a porn person . I find it distracting at best. Even music I found to be a distraction and that goes for heavy breathing tantric sound tracts. But remember that the aneros experience is a WWFY one (whatever works for you). And as one of the many wise people you'll meet in these forums has written, your own experience will vary from session to session and that's part of the adventure. Use mental imagery, too. Sometimes the most effective way I've found is to imagine the device moving and the points of contact it touches. And soon the device will be moving on its own.. That's enough for now, 'cause as I write this I'm starting to get those involuntaries, and that can mean only one thing....Best wishes
