Hello,

My question is related to Premature Ejaculation and Aneros' effect on it. I am a 44 Y old male. A recently diagnosed mildly large prostate (37CC) with calcification has made me turn toward Prostate Massage. I have recently purchased a Helix and cant wait for it to arrive. I have some experience in anal play, in my late 30s but it was mostly just to add spice up a sex session and was limited to some dildos and vibrators.

The question I have is I have suffered from Premature Ejaculation pretty much all my life, and would like to know if regular use of Aneros would help me in developing Ejaculation Control. I have never really tried to do something about it except for some homeopathic remedies (which really didn't work). I have in the past one month been practicing edging which has just helped a little bit but I am still not there yet.

I have been married 13 years now. My sex life is kind of boring, we do it once a week and I am always dissatisfied afterward because of the PE. My wife is really not that interested in sex. So there is some baggage as well as performance anxiety. The urologist that had me do the prostate ultra-sound has prescribed a low dosage of SSRI but I am not inclined to using it as I don't want the side effects associated with it.

Anyway the senior members/users please advice if regular use of aneros will help me in PE....???

I'm not a expert but I believe that I did read that prostate massage can help with PE. I don't remember where I read it so I can't give you a link. I think it has as much to do with strengthening the PC muscle as the actual massaging of the prostate. Doing kegels helps to make your PC muscle stronger which is supposed to increase stamina and control.
I can tell you that since I started my journey that when I ejaculate it is much stronger now. I won't go into details but I really need to be careful now when I masturbate as I never know exactly where it is going to go.
Anyways good luck on your journey. I think that once you get started you will get a lot of pleasure and any side benefits are just icing on the cake.

IMHO, Yes it will help. Regular Aneros use in conjunction with Kegel exercises will increase pelvic muscle tone, stamina and control as @philliephan pointed out. This kind of muscle control can be used to employ the 'clinch & hold' technique used by some men to retard the onset of ejaculatory contractions before they are desired. This method has been proven to be effective but it may also lessen the level of pleasure a man could otherwise enjoy during intercourse, there is another approach to ejaculation control which Aneros use can also help with.

Aneros guru @B Mayfield aptly coined the term "Tantric training wheels" for these wonderful little prostate massagers because the journey to a Super-O involves training your mind as well as your body. This mental training happens to coincide with many fundamental principles of Tantric teaching one of which is learning to relax those pelvic muscles during the buildup to orgasm. This may seem a strange paradox, Aneros use helps you develop muscle control and helps you relax muscle control as well, but that is what happens.

So how does this help with premature ejaculation you may be asking yourself ? Here's a good article which will tell you how the Tantric approach will help 6 Tantric Secrets Which Can Evade Premature Ejaculation Forever. It will improve both your solo and partnered sessions.
Good Vibes to You !

I second what @rumel said about relaxing the pelvic muscles in the buildup to orgasm.

The strength part of kegel exercises alone may be a double edged sword, as some of us have a tendancy to clench the PC muscle throughout sex. That increases sensitivity in much the same way a cock ring increases pleasure. A bigger stronger PC muscle simply makes your ejaculations more powerful!

However if you practice relaxing those muscles you can somewhat overcome the spasming there which precedes ejaculatory orgasm (for me at least). Still need a moment to recompose yourself!

Furthermore learning to breath deeply when approaching climax rather than hold your breath also helps you keep control.

To put it simply, I DON'T think having an aneros inserted during intercourse will help your problem. The sensual relaxation, breathing and kegel exercises that greatly benefit aneros sessions, may well help.
