Hi, so i stumbled accross the aneros through some website and was intrigued isntanly, so much so it seems to be all i thought about till i bought one. I am in search of a higher orgasm and also interested in making my love life with my other half even better. So today i tried it out alone (my girl doesnt know yet) and really just had a couple of sensations that i have never had before. One was that i felt like i had to pee a bit, the other was that i felt like taking a crap. I also felt a a kinda strong feeling at my prostate i think? Now i tried to relax and go slow like i have read here and i also tried many different positions and really didnt get too much farther sensitivity wise.... so i guess i just need to keep trying but just wondering if i am doing it right? I get so turned on by the idea that i really cant wait to feel something amazing but i know this is a thing that takes time and well i am going to try to stick with it as often as i can..... Just wanted to say thanks to all who shares their experiences so that i am able to distinguish what i am feeling since this is a new thing to me....

Hi turbotommy,

Welcome to the Forum,

The feeling of the urge to urinate is a sure sign that your Aneros is engaging your prostate properly. This feeling will usually abate in a minute or two. The feeling for the need to defecate is not unusual for new users, as you get more comfortable and inured to the presence of your massager in your rectum this too will abate. However, if the lubrication you are using contains glycerin or some other chemical compound to which you are sensitive this feeling may persist regardless of the presence of the Aneros device. Also you should be aware that the presence of any object in the rectum can trigger peristalsis to move fecees through the colon. I advise you make sure you have had a bowel movement 1-2 hours prior to an Anerosession.
IMHO, one of the most difficult issues newbie users have to deal with is expectations of results, such as when you said “...i really cant wait to feel something amazing...”. Patience is important in allowing your mind and body to get in synchronicity with each other to learn this new orgasmic paradigm.
