Hi: I'm a new user, one try, so far. I guess from what I've read, it's normal that nothing much happened. I have had one G-spot massage and really didn't feel much then although the therapist was able to bring me to orgasm but that was with a lot of penile stimulation. She did say that my prostate was "way up." Maybe I have the wrong Aneros.(?) She had me get in the doggy style position to get at my prostate. Any suggestions? Larrys

Hello Larrys,

And welcome to the Aneros forums! 🙂

I guess from what I've read, it's normal that nothing much happened.

Yup. My first time with my Helix was nothing much to speak of.
But keep practicing and reading the forums here as there is so much good information and advice.

She did say that my prostate was "way up." Maybe I have the wrong Aneros.(?)

I don't know what model you have as you didn't mention it. But it's possible, as Aneros does make the SGX model for shorter men. But much more likely that you have not attuned yourself to the Aneros yet, and gone through the re-wiring process. I mean come on. You've only used it once so far. To the best of my recollection, it took me I think about 10 sessions before I started to feel some small amounts of pleasurable sensations. Generally speaking, this is not a device that you will get instant pleasurable results from. It takes time. Be patient with it.

Any suggestions?

Read as much as you can in this forum. And don't be afraid to ask the stupid questions. Rumel should have sent you a private message with links to essential readings for new users that is a good place to start. Another thing you might consider is using this post to keep a written log of each of your sessions. I've done this myself with my more recent sessions, and have found it to be of tremendous help in solidifying ideas and thoughts, and coming up with new questions concerning the process.

Learning to feel pleasure from the prostrate and the anus is a process that takes time. And the amount of time varies between men, and how much you practice using the Aneros. I'm not surprised that you didn't feel much when your therapist massaged your prostrate. If it's a gentle massage like what the Aneros does, then you won't feel much until you have re-wired and become attuned to the sensations.

Keep at it! And good luck on your journey!
🙂

From what I understand everyone has slightly different experiences when they are new. For me, my first time was pretty much 100% uneventful. The second time though, I definitely felt something. The third time was awesome, though I ultimately didn't achieve a "super-o". Relaxation is the key, relax and have fun =)

I finally after a series of trys have gotten close, lots of involuntary shaking, spasms, the helix drawing itself in close and starting to move around. This was in a matter of minutes of putting it in. This went on for about 25 minutes till I was shaking and give out. I definitely now have a base to go by after a year of on and off trys. 🙂 😮 😯
I have a progasm and helix, next time I'll try one then change out to the other.

Larrys,

Don’t be in a hurry to judge where your prostate is. I think it nearly a given that positional changes in the prostate are possible from day to day, further how your body is positioned could make a big difference as well.

Start out with your body in the standard position as described in the literature that came with your Aneros. Work from there as this is the best understood position to produce results. By all means though, feel free to try different positions once you are comfortable with the standard.

In my own case I felt sure that my Aneros did not fit me. I knew my prostate was much higher up than the Aneros would reach. I persisted in my regular use though and suddenly found that my prostate was right where it needed to be! Far lower than I expected. (Perhaps my prostate moved of its own accord or perhaps I simply did not know where it really was. Either way, this is a part of the rewiring process.)

You are at an early step in the rewiring process. It is common at first to find that your model does not fit. In fact, feeling that your model does suddenly fit is one of the key milestones in the journey. I felt this myself and now feel the opposite is true. My Aneros is close to fitting perfectly. Give your Mistress a chance to build her home in you before giving up. Use the Aneros every other day at a minimum for at least a week or two. I think by then you will never be without your Mistress again and will be far along on your journey.

As they say in Oz, follow the yellow brick road!
