I’ve just gotten my an Aneros Helix Syn. I have no real experience with anal play prior to this and have little idea what I am doing. I have had a couple of fun sessions where I put my new toy in snuggle under the covers, but it makes my erection so sensitive that I can’t really help grinding it a little on the bed and blankets. I understand that I am supposed to use contractions to move the toy, and with more lube I’m getting better at it, but I see session video of guys just bouncing and shaking rapidly and screaming and I think “wow, that is nothing like what I am doing.” Any experienced user got tips for an anal virgin to strengthen my contractions and work toward involuntaries?
I have a helix syn too,,wonderful toy, it is like a nice finger up your butt ,you can wear it doing chores ,making coffee ... , I even wore mine today cutting the grass, it is a very good distraction to the chore . the real enjoyment is the getting to know what your body is feeling, you should read as much of the different forums ,to learn how people achieve pleasure. don't worry about having a big O , it will sneak up on you and wow ,,but don't miss all the stuff in the middle , I love grinding mine into my P spot, just be gentle don't hurt yourself , I love making coffee while doing Kegel's fully dressed in the kitchen. I have these quaking moments, I shake in that moment I am having a anal orgasm's the more I let go and let it happen the more I have.Try nipple play, breathing methods ,some folks have all kinda ways ,and methods I have not tried them all ,but will get around to them. the mind is a great aphrodisiac, enjoy the feelings, read about the many ways people are getting off,it is a different way to masturbate , good luck and have enjoyment from it.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to our little (but growing) community. This Forum is a cornucopia of information and I hope you take some time to read through much of what it has to offer. Please see my Introductory Message to New Members for some starter help.

I hope you don't get caught in the trap of trying/thinking your sessions should match what you see or read about from other men's experiences. Every man's experience is unique and your particular journey will be unique as well. I agree with veteran Aneros guru @B Mayfield when he said...
My opinion is that YOU WILL NEVER DISCOVER THE TECHNIQUES OF ACCESSING THE SUPER O FROM WATCHING A VIDEO. The reason, as I've described previously, is that there is a great deal that is going on internally that defies scrutiny. So while such videos may be titillating, they will have a difficult time being enlightening. (It's like someone giving you a video that shows an individual meditating and expecting you to learn how to meditate from it.) What I'm trying to express here is that even if one sees an individual who outwardly displays physical signs of this type orgasm (and remember that many don't), it does nothing to illuminate the path for getting there! Such videos may be interesting to watch, but they won't get you where you want to go.

Practice doing regular kegel exercises along with your Aneros use, that is probably the best way to accelerate your learning progress. Please see @BigGlansDC 's thread Kegels do feel real good if you do them faithfully! and the threads Kegels Question, The Kegels do work! Especially with Aless! and Kegel Workouts! for some words of wisdom on this exercise regime.
Good Vibes to You!
Welcome aboard !
Don't worry too much about what you see in videos. I'm not saying that any of the guys are faking or trying to make it look better for the camera, my experience tells me that they are probably legit.
The problem comes from the fact that there is not necessarily a link between the amount and strength of involuntaries, shaking etc. and the intensity of the orgasm, depending on each user. You may have a mindblowing orgasm while being completely still, and you can also have lots of movement and just get tired and "stuck" there with no orgasm.
You have some people asking how to GET the legs shake and involuntaries, the next thread you see, another guy will ask how to STOP the legs shake and involuntaries...
Since you're just starting out, you don't know how YOUR body will react to high pleasure levels, and expecting specific reactions could very well be counter productive. Work on developing your own style and go with what feels good and don't worry about what you sound or look like during your session.
I strongly agree with 99% of the advice given here.
Particularly this...
the real enjoyment is the getting to know what your body is feeling
However I will say, don't keep reading and reading on here endlessly. Once you find one or two ideas you'd like to implement, go for it. Have a few sessions playing with your Aneros before coming back for more info.
This is your journey. Reading too much can make all this seem overly complex!
So long as you aren't getting frustrated and appreciating each session for what it brings you. You are already doing many things correctly. The rest is just little tweaks over time 🙂
Oh! and if you are having trouble not giving in to the desire to grind on bed/blankets, then move the blanket further down! Heheh. Don't lie on your front, either. It gets easier.
No guilt or shame if you end up grinding, enjoy it, it feels great.
Just a friendly goal, to move towards not touching your cock, that has helped many on the path to further pleasures.
