So I've been reading the forum for a long time, but I've decided that I want to take action and start by buying an Aneros.
I know all of the models have their unique functions, and there's no 'best' but what's the difference between the models?

Additionally, I've tried inserting via my finger, and I believe I made contact with my prostate and rubbed it continously but nothing happened... is this just because I was motioning wrongly or perhaps I didn't hit my prostate, or is it possible to not feel pleasure there?

I however, rubbed my prostate from the perineum area (I think) whilst ejaculating during masturbation and I felt an internal pleasure inside my anus, but can only get that pleasure when rubbing whilst ejaculating. What stage would this be? (If it's even a stage) i.e. p wave, dry o, super o

Thanks for responding 😀

they dont actually have unique functions but all have the same function which is to lightly massage the prostate. They are unique in the sense that each model is shaped differently, some are skinny, fat, short, long. Its all really just preference as all of the devices should work well at massaging the prostate, that being said, I believe there is a section in the wiki that talks specifically about models for new users. As for your self massage with your finger, this is perfectly normal as most beginners say they do not feel much in the beginning until they "wake up" their prostate which can take weeks or months. I also have no idea what the pressure feeling you had during masturbation was but suffice to say the prostate can produce almost limitless sensations and individual feelings at that, so I wouldnt concern myself with naming different feelings, sensations or what stage you are at and just enjoy things as they come.

Thank you... glad to know mine is sleeping XD

You sound like you're experienced, but this is your first post?

Edit: Nevermind, it was just glitched saying you had 0 posts.

There is a range in aneros prostate massagers and that's skinny to fat. The fat models require muscle strength to manuever, whilst the smaller ones require muscle control in my personal experience. The bigger ones give off a more intense direct feel while the smaller ones give off a more gentle subtle feel.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A model in the middle of the spectrum would be easiest for those new to anal play. Also Peridise or Tempo can help you get acquainted with your muscles though they may not give pleasure since they don't massage the prostate and aren't prostate massagers.

The mid-devices are Helix, Helix Syn, Progasm.jr, and MGX.
The small devices are SGX, Eupho, and Eupho Syn.
The large Devices are DeVice/Vice, Progasm, Progasm Ice, and Maximus.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are also different textures. From smoothest to rugged they are:
1. Stainless Steel: (feels smooth like butter imo): Tempo

2. Tritan Glass:(Feels like glass or "very" smooth plastic): Progasm Ice and Progasm Jr.

3. Silicone: (Feels matte imo): Both syn models and the DeVice/Vice
*The syn models have a non silicone core while the Vices are pure silicone sans the vibrating bullet.

4. Standard, I’m guessing some sort of plastic?: (Feels a bit grainy to me but some say that it's smoother than silicone so it's a toss-up): All white models; Peridise/SGX/MGX/Eupho/Helix/Maximus/Progasm.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lastly, there is design but unfortunately I only know the design attribute of the Progasm, Vice/DeVice, and Progasm Jr. They all share the same design and are made for a direct and agressive massage. The tabs are different on each of these models. I find the progasm and Progasm Ice tabs to be very uncomfortable however the tabs on the junior and Vices look comfortable and many have claimed that they are.

Peridise and Tempo share the same design (but the thickness and size of the bulbs vary)
*Tempos bulb is slightly less round than the Peridise set bulbs it seems*
SGX and MGX share the same design
Eupho and Eupho Syn share the same design (minus the tabs, the syn tabs are softer and much more comfortable, however some claim that they aren't as effective because of that)
Helix/Helix Syn share the same design (minus the tabs like the Eupho syn)
Maximus is the only Solo model
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Size spectrum from slim to fat; take with a grain of salt as i'm unsure about the sizes. Hopefully someone can correct me if i'm wrong:

*The first 3 Peridise in the complete set from small to large are the 3 smallest
*The final 4th and largest largest peridise is about the same size as tempo though tempo is slightly taller

Eupho
SGX
*Eupho is taller than SGX but is still slimmer I think*
MGX
HELIX
Progasm Jr.
Maximus
Progasm
Vices
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTES:*The big devices also give off a full feeling effect that the smaller ones may not pull off as well**The Tempo is the heaviest current model**Tempo/Peridise are very useful in conjunction with pelvic floor/anal exercises and can enhance your session with the other prostate massagers**DeVice doesn't have a vibrating bullet while Vice does, that is the only difference between the two*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, that is my personal guide, choose what you think is best! ^ ^
