Hey everyone, great community here. Let me introduce myself, I'm in my 20s still studying and am quite the nerd (studies IT related).
I have just recently found a SO, which has prompted me to start on this journey of self-exploration that had led me here. More specifically, I have suffered a few disappointments while engaging myself sexually with my partner. I had my expectations for pleasure built up real high, and was quite disappointed when it felt kinda like a wank, only slightly better (I'm quite stoic and hard to get excited, maybe that's the problem?). Also being the curious kind, I interrogated my SO about how it felt for her, I got some serious vagina envy then (MyTurn I hear you, man). Although providing pleasure to my SO is a pleasure in itself, it kind of makes me feel like I'm disconnected from her, her being the star of the show, and me the janitor who gets to clean the stage afterwards. So I started looking for ways to increase my pleasure to level the playing field, researching on mmo techniques, even trying some, rather unsuccessfully (got it to work once, but couldn't reproduce the results). During this research I've stumbled upon aneros and KSMO, dismissed KSMO as a scam at first, dwelled on aneros, but didn't really think that it might work, until one really bizarre thing happened to me. I had a slightly constipated bowel movement, which hit some good spot there, making me gasp for air and leaving my limbs weak with pleasure. Although I don't think that was an orgasm, it was tremendously pleasurable, had to grab on a nearby heating pipe so as not to fall off the throne, best crap I've ever had. That's when I made up my mind to get an aneros product. Probably getting the Helix, as it is recommended all over the place.

So that's my story, sorry if my English is awkward, not my first tongue. I really hope aneros will be my salvation.

Welcome.
A few comments:

-The Helix is a good first model. Be careful on your approach though. Use it and enjoy everything your body decides to do with it. Don't expect it to do anything special or try to "make" it work. If you have expectations, it won't work and you'll be disappointed.
-Do some research here on lube. I use Slippery Stuff. It works well and is supposed to be very safe.
-KSMO is not a scam. I am practicing it now as are many others on this forum. My results with KSMO have far surpassed those with aneros. But, my experience seems to be atypical.
-Many of us have pleasurable feelings with bowel movements. However, mine started after I started using the aneros. It sounds like you didn't try an aneros yet. If not, this is interesting.

Hello burtwad,

And welcome to the Aneros forum! 🙂

I must admit that is very broad and open minded of you to try an Aneros prostate massager at your age. So congratulate yourself on that. 😀

I don't have much to add that dtmsmith has not already said. Except that there are a number of Aneros users that post here that also practice KSMO. Althoug I'm not one of them, everything I've read here about it shows it to be legitimate. And some people say the two practices compliments each other. Although much like anything else, you never know how well it will work for you until you put in the time and regular practice. I assume much like the Aneros experience, how people respond to the KSMO practice is different to each person. I'm sure the other KSMO practitioners will pipe in and give you their thoughts about it.

Like dtssmith said, the Helix is a fine beginners model. And if you end up having any sort of success with it, much like a lot of the other guys here, you'll likely end up owning more than one Aneros model over time. LOL

I too didn't realize that bowel movements could be pleasurable until I was well into my Aneros journey. 😀 Is this natures way of encouraging men to poop more often? LOL

Well I dismissed KSMO at first mainly because of its esoteric way of explaining things, like projecting energies and such. I'm quite scientifically minded and tend to reject such things, also the website looked like many other scam sites on the internet. That's what lead me to label it as a such, but afterwards I looked at the forums and it changed my mind a little. Even so I'm not planning on trying it yet due to privacy restrains, as I live in an apartment building and don't want to scare my neighbors and it is still hard for me to grasp the concept, it being explained so vaguely.

But I'd like to point out, that after reading Mayfield's sticky "B's Keys to the Backdoor" where, if my memory doesn't fail me, he described a little about what KSMO feels like. That is, when he breathes, it feels like butterflies in the stomach, sort of a tingly sensation. I have discovered, that I can call up this feeling with my mind and strengthen it with breathing. I have developed this on my own for completely different purposes - a concentration technique I use to fend off sleepiness during bus transit or boring lectures, the tingling feeling tends to wake me up. I have not tried building it up or experimenting with it because it served its intended purpose pretty well, but I do think I might be on to something here.

Still I'd like to try the aneros first and see where it gets me.
