Since the other discussion has clearly been a failure let me start over with questions strictly concerning aneros usage...

As I don't have time to read through the whole forum perhaps you guys could give helpful tips on what has worked for you; preparation, lubrication, positions, etc.

I had a nice session the other day that started with a good cleaning out and a hot shower. I then inserted 5ml of the Aneros sessions lube and started listening to the Hypnaerosession CD to relax before inserting a lubed MGX. I relaxed quickly and easily and after a while with the MGX I switched to the newly purchased Helix Syn.

Some stronger feelings than in the past but I still had uncomfortable almost violent spasms of my body even with the syn which most have said to be gentler than past aneros products. Btw position was on my back with legs bent and spread, feet flat on bed. It's the only position I have known to even kinda work...

Suggestions?

i recommend either natural organic shea butter or extra virgin olive oil as lubricants. They work really well and are long lasting. About 5ml is a good amount. As for positions, i usually lay on my back with my legs spread apart slightly. Legs bent while laying on your back will produce more leg shaking then if you are more relaxed and laying down. Laying on your side either in a fetal position or with one leg bent and the other straight also work well. Relaxation is key. Even when we think we are relaxed as things start to feel good alot of us tend to tense up unknowingly. @didymus has good advice about about expectations. Enjoy the feelings as they come with no expectation whatsoever.

Hmm, I know the side position is recommended in the aneros product instructions but it's never seemed to work for me and it is difficult to relax with one leg pulled toward your chest. I'll try further laying flat on my back and see if that stops the shaking. I tried a few times and it was somewhat effective; felt nice but seemed like the massager wasn't able to move. How do you keep the bed from impeding the mobility? I tried placing a pillow under me but that didn't really work. I know many have modified their devices but I don't want to potentially ruin them or make them further ineffective...

@sensitiveguy22 --- If the spasms were indeed painful, and you feel you need to suppress them, you may be working against what your body and mind is trying to help you experience. On the other hand, if the spasms were just "different", then you may just want to go with it and let the experience take you where it wants to go. I would also experiment with other positions, but, I am of the opinion that the spasms are happening because the Aneros has "hit the mark" and your prostate is being stimulated quite effectively! Have fun and enjoy! Keep an open mind, let things happen and appreciate any and all new feelings you get!

Yeah I have thought that too but I would prefer "calm seas" and "dry o's". That being said the shaking isn't painful just unpleasant and others don't report that kind of response...

Btw what does a dry orgasm even feel like and how would I know if I have one?

@sensitiveguy22, you dont need to pull your knee up to your chest, I usually have mine perpendicular to my body and the other leg straight, but either way it has to be a comfortable position. Another position that I tried again today is to lay flat on your back and rest your legs(calf's) on a couch or chair. Its like being in a seating positon but laying on your back. As for laying on your back with a device, I cut the tails off of all my devices except the progasm, so it doesnt catch on anything. If your interested in doing that I can explain how, its pretty easy. The curly Q part of the tail really serves no purpose but you do need some of the tail left for the device to work properly.

how we interpret what an orgasm feels like is very individual, but for me a dry O feels very much like a traditional O but without the ejaculation and tends to last longer, sometimes up to 30 seconds and they may happen multiple times within a few minutes.

I am one who gets the shaking and full-body movement, and I have since I started! I don't try to control it, I just go with it in order to experience the range of feelings which can occur during any session! I will get the calm seas and dry o's as well in the same session! Just go with it!

Ok, good to know. I suppose this doesn't happen for many of you anymore but how long do you try and let the "toy" do its thing before you give up and stroke your cock? I've had sessions as long as 3 or 4 hrs before that didn't result in orgasm but teased me to where I felt the need for release...

@sensitiveguy22, have you been able to not release. I think it is called edging. I don't know but it may help build up the sexual energy and perhaps the next time with a relaxing do nothing approach it may break through.

its up to you when to end a session. But I would like to strongly suggest you do not end your session with any penile stimulation or traditional orgasm. If you do need a release its recommended to wait at least a few hours so your not confusing your brain. The goal is to "rewire" and ending with traditional orgasm isnt going to get you there in my opinion.

Hmm, I suppose that makes sense...so even though it wouldn't distract from the sensations (since I am no longer concerned with the feelings within at that point) it might be conditioning my mind/body to think that prostate stim always leads to traditional ejac? Never thought of it that way...

Btw I tried the aneros manual suggested position again last night. Things felt good and I could clearly feel the helix syn move in and out as I breathed which is something I hadn't really sensed before in other positions...however it never took over and "auto fucked" or built up to anything. The only movement/sensation was when I focused on deep breathing. Perhaps I didn't keep it up long enough but I fell asleep and wasn't awoken by a surprise o or anything like I've seen some report. Anyone else have problems initiating the pivoting action in a side laying position? Not sure if I need more lube or what but I often struggle getting the massager to dance on its own...

I bought a 3 pack of the Aneros Sessions lube...I figured a lube made specifically for aneros by aneros must be pretty good. Anyone else use it?

Sometimes I just slather it on the massager, other times use the lube syringe to insert 5ml and also slather some on the toy. Not sure it's long lasting though...decided to wear the peridise to work today (feel naughty but no real sensations other than when I cough lol, been using it to assist with kegels) and I'm wondering if I should have inserted some silicone lube instead. I know with the syn at least I can't use silicone...

Sessions lube is water based. In my opinion not a very long lasting lubricant as your anus will absorb some and the rest will dry out. Natural organic shea butter and extra virgin olive oil are really good long lasting lubricants, and cheap too compared to over the counter lubricants. I used to use silicone and it worked really well but became concerned over repeated long term use and the absorption thingy LOL. Seems kinda unhealthy. I feel its important to always insert some lube since the lube you coat on the device can be stripped off during insertion.

Hmm, I've used cocoa butter and grape seed oil before for jerking off/massage and they are wonderful, but I am unfamiliar with Shea butter...and where do but natural organic?

i buy alot of things online as it seems nowadays you could hunt around forever trying to find something lol. This is what I buy and its a great product. http://www.amazon.com/Shea-Butter-Organic-Unrefined-HDPE/dp/B007B6RR98/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1394848198&sr=8-11&keywords=natural+shea+butter. Ive heard others use coconut oil, walnut oil, but have no experience with them. Shea butter is solid at room temperature, so i just scoop some up into a little plastic jar and melt in the microwave, let it cool down and its good to go. Stuff lasts forever.

I dont know what part of the world you live in but if you are in the USA most hair/beauty supply stores (the ones that are owned by asians, and mostly patronized by african american women) carry 100 african organic raw unrefined shea butter as well for a pretty good price usually, i use it on my hair didnt know you could use it for this though. learn something new everyday!!! will be trying this out on the hubby very soon.

It is Unrefined Shea Butter is what we know it as, in most places it is prepared done in sterile conditions. In the refining process chemicals are added as it then goes onto be made into cosmetics. Stuff for hair is probably refined. Just my understanding.

@devajones,If you can be sure that it is certified unrefined (with no added ingredients), go for it.

A plug of this stuff about 2 to 2.5 ml inserted into the rectum plus a little spread over the tool before it is inserted is enough to last all night.

Personally, I'd be a bit wary of buying this stuff from a beauty salon or beauty supplies shop but would be looking for a dedicated supplier or health food store.

Good Luck!

Raw shea butter is sold in beauty supply stores, and health food stores in the US. That is what @devajones was referring to. I save seen the same brands of raw shea butter, in both types of stores.

I started with A&D ointment (basically vaseline and lanolin) with olive oil mixed in, but more recently finally found a good source of Shea Butter (NOW is the distributor, ordered thru Amazon --see "ineverknew"'s comment above). I have a "sawed-off" 5 cc syringe, cut on the bias and drill into the cooled shea butter, making 2-3 cm "suppositories" which I put in the freezer and then insert. I also coat the device with a little shea butter and a few drops of olive oil. This, I think, is the best way to go, but WWFY (whatever works for you). This has been said many times before in other threads, but avoid creams and lotions with all those additives, especially parabens and their ilk.

@devajones

You're welcome! I always enjoy reading your posts. If more women were like you, some men's Prostatic Endeavors, would be much more productive. They would not have to sneak about, and carry guilt and angst,
for enjoying their prostates. When I met my GF, I immediately told her of my Prostatic Adventures. She said she has no problem with it. She even agreed to try a Tempo with me. She mentioned something about pegging,
about a week ago. GOODY, GOODY, GOODY! Hopefully, you will get to peg your husband.
