Hi guys. I am as new as they come. I just recieved my aneros last week and have since tried i 2 times my first session being 6 hours my second being 4 hours. That's great but depending on the source of that information it may not all be correct, you'll need to verify congruency with your own experiences.

This is quite common as learning to tune into the subtle sensations of self prostate massage with Aneros devices requires a paradigm shift in thinking about what constitutes orgasm. Patience is required, but forcing yourself to endure multi-hour sessions with non-productive effects is just boring and may be laying a foundation of future futility. I'd advise you to try shorter sessions to begin with, a time frame in which you can focus on your breathing patterns, monitor your bodily responses and quiet your internal ego dialogue. A kind of meditation session only long enough to avoid slipping into boredom, this might be only 30 mins. to an hour in length. I am glad you are heeding @Cockadoodle ’s advice from Penis, NOT, however, IMHO, watching porn during an Anerosession may be counterproductive as it can be very distractive to monitoring your own bodily responses. High arousal is important to generating prostate based orgasms but it may be best to be highly aroused prior to beginning a session (please see Are you "aroused"? & Aneros, Arousal & Abstinence/Semen Retention).

Pain of any sort can be a session killer, if you need a prescription pain killer, I'd advise you use it as prescribed. The fact your pain medication may inhibit your ejaculatory response does not mean it will necessarily inhibit prostate based dry-O's.

I try to avoid thinking in terms of 'right' or 'wrong' when it comes to Aneros practices, since there are no rules per se you have a lot of flexibility to pursue techniques which will 'optimize' your experiences. It seems to me one of the best practices you could start practicing right now is development of your Pelvic Floor muscles by beginning a training regime of Kegel Exercises.
