Need help with the Progasm

@Bigcity, welcome to Aneros Forum. There are two versions of the Progasm: The older Progasm Classic and the newer Progasm ICE or Black or Red ICE. Progasm being the largest model of the Aneros line takes some time to get used too. By all means, keep your Progasm. It is a great model.

It took me about six months to get used to my Progasm. I found doing the Kegel Exercises consistently very helpful for building strength of my spincters for using Progasm more effectively.

Look into getting a smaller Aneros model. I commend the MGX, Helix, and Maximus models for you. I love those three models. But I adore Progasm for what it does for me.

ust one month today, I bought a Syn. I have been pretty much a homophobe throughout my life, and my arse has been a no-go area. In fact, not since 1972 has anything been up there; my girlfriend, at the time, stuck a finger up me, and my anus immediately contracted around it to squeeze out a stupendous orgasm. I gave it a go on the day of arrival. But despite masses of lube, full insertion proved too difficult--my arse would simply not unclench enough. Nevertheless, the stimulation had given me a hard-on, so I took it to a manual wank. Well, what is uncanny is that when I came, sensations of pleasurable orgasm were entirely absent. What I experienced instead was very strong contractions in my cock. Kegels in my cock! A displaced memory, maybe, of those contractions many decades ago? That's what it felt like. And though, I did not feel anything resembling the intense pleasure that I was seeking, there was a tonic effect on my mood--and general feeling of physical well-being--that lasted over successive days. A couple of days later, I had another go at insertion. This time, my arse was pliant and accommodating, and the Syn slipped in neatly. Tests show me to be very much a left-brain type of man. 3 hours with the Aneros and the bland music from my speakers sounds exquisitely complex; colours seem brighter, and nuanced in shade; mundane objects take on the appearance of works of art. Is this my right-brain waking up at last? I wonder.
So, I am definitely a convert to the Aneros products. If I never have a super O , what I have been experiencing means my money has found a fantastic return!
It does occur to me though that the Syn may not be engaging at all with my prostate. I am not a King Kong sized man--more a Viet Cong body type: 5'6'. Reading the forums, has informed me that the MGX is most popular with Japanese--who tend more to my height and wiry body type. Should I purchase a MGX? I am not dissatisfied with what the Syn does for me. Aneros claim that it suits 98% of users. What though if I am in the 2% who might have been better buying the MGX?

Progasm is a BIG device. I'm an old anal pro so the size in no way intimidated me.

What I do find with it is that it's easy to put too much pressure on my prostate with it. Pressure
to the point it got uncomfortable and distracting and probably caused lesser O's than I could
have been getting. I've just hit a point though were I just let my prostate do the work with it and
things just happen.

I have a Helix Trident and a High-Island PS-New. They both move a lot more than the Progasm and
put less pressure on my prostate.

Get something smaller. I highly recommend the Helix Trident. I bet you get better results.

@NewJoyToy, I agree with you. The Progasm models are very intimidating for their size, but I love them for what they do for me. Just before I began my Aneros journey in early June 2012, I ordered from Aneros.com Helix Classic, MGX Classic, and Progasm Classic in late December 2011. I was scared to use them until I got a Helix Syn in March 2012 which was for me a gentle introduction to anal play. I then graduated to Maximus Classic in early July 2012, and finally two months later to both Progasm Classic and Progasm ICE in mid September 2012. It took me a good six months for me to begin using Maximus and the Progasm models effectively. Now I adore all the models that I have stated in this paragraph what they do for me.

Tonight I begin putting out to the Universe to get the newer Trident line and High Island PS-New very soon. 😉
