Just got my Progasm in the mail. I've only tried it once... so I will try and relay what I felt and hopefully get some feedback on how to make it better.
First off, I am wondering if it's in the right position. Did new users ever feel as if it wasn't quite hitting the right spot? Small contractions of my muscles don't produce much pressure on the prostate. Very strong contractions produce mild pressure.
I played around with different body positions for about an hour trying to get a good feel of the Progasm. At one point, strong contractions produced a tingling sensation right in the middle of my face which radiated throughout my entire head, then stopped. I wouldn't call it a wild orgasmic feeling, but it was a tad pleasurable and I had never felt it before.
I started to manually move the Progasm around to make sure it was in the best spot and realized that if I pushed it forward more, it REALLY started to hit the prostate. This made me think that this was not made for my anatomy, however I started to put some pretty intense manual pressure on my prostate with the Progasm and I started to feel overcome by sensation down there. It was almost as if I could feel liquid moving from my prostate and wanting to come out. I had an intense feeling like I needed to urinate, but I didn't stop. Multiple times I got to a point where it felt like there was no way my body could contain the liquid anymore and I thought I was going to orgasm, but unfortunately it never happened. But the feeling was crazy intense.
At the end, I was glad to be able to feel something new like that on my first try, but I was disappointed that it was not hands free and that I had to physically manipulate the Progasm.
Any tips?
I started to manually move the Progasm
Yea, don't do that. Although it may not feel like its contacting your prostate, it is. I suggest giving it some real time, to work its magic. Welcome to the weird weird world of Aneros as I'm guessing your new at this. This is not a instant gratification thingy. There is some good literature here, for beginners to advanced. Read up, so you can beginn the journey proper. Trust me theres a reason why these aren't cheap, as far as bum pleasers go. Also, this is a very hard peice of plastic, by manipulating it manually, you could harm yourself. Seriously read up.
Welcome.
tbob hit the nail in the head. Read read read. Then learn how to feel the massager through minimal clenching and hands free. You want to awaken the nerves with subtle stimulation. If you barrage your prostate with heavy stimulation through hard clenches and pushing the toy against your prostate, you will likely have trouble awakening those nerves.
I really love my Progasm Ice. For me, after insertion, I try to relax as much as possible and focus on breathing (I didn't push the Progasm outward, but when I relaxed the first time, I was afraid it might slide out but it didn't). Though the journey isn't about the penis, for me, getting an erection = very strong prostate orgasms that soon follow. Eventually the erection goes away but by that point, the prostate is returning the love exponentially. As for contractions for stimulation, try to gradually increase the strength of the contractions - starting at what might feel more like a slight twitch. But take your focus away from purposely contracting and focus on what you're actually feeling and breathe. In all likelihood, your butt will kind of go on "auto-pilot" and send you to the stratosphere. But with the size of the Progasm, try to keep your internal muscles in a "loose" and relaxed tone. While I am relaxed internally, I contract my glutes in varying amounts - this makes the Progasm move more freely inside you (+++ lube recommended!!!). Vary your positions to find what's best for you. But don't try to orgasm - breathe and really focus on the subtle sensations inside. Like a butterfly, chasing it tends to make it elusive, but if you stay still, it may land on you.
Happy practices!
In my opinion you were fine checking things here and finding your mark :

But this :

Is certainly not the way to do it. You want to focus on the subtle sensations of the device hitting less sensitive areas of your prostate, not poke it into submission. You don't want actual intense pressure, you want to build up focus and sensitivity so the subtle stuff will feel like intense pressure while in reality, it's pretty gentle.
If you want to go hard at it, better get a soft, smooth dildo to start with. With the Aneros, you don't want more pressure than what your internal muscles will provide.

I think the above posters have given you some good insight and advice. What you have described is not all that unusual for a new user, please see my posts in the thread Think I'm doing something wrong for some additional information.
Good Vibes to You!
