So I bought this butt plug, Icicles 25. I was so excited to try it, my first glass toy, and it felt amazing!.... for a few minutes.
As I was laying there and getting excited, my butt was starting to tighten around it and I felt like it was being pulled in. I got nervous and made sure it wasn't actually going in. All seemed fine. Relaxed and layed there again, and same thing - it started feeling really good and as I was starting to tighten up around it again, I got really worried that it could get pulled in. The stem is pretty narrow, so as your ass tigtens up on it, it really pulls the base of the toy right up to your sphincter.
It feels amazing, but I get too nervous it is going to go in. I tried tying a string around it, but that sorta didn't feel all that great as my ass tightened up and rubbed against it.
Is there anything else I can do with this thing to make it safe, or modify it to make it less likely to be a problem?
I found a similar toy, Icicles No 14. It's actually a bit bigger, and also feels good, but it isn't quite as good as no 25... at least the few minutes I've had with no 25 before I get scared and take it out.
For what it is worth - if you don't have a glass toy, I recommend it. They are so slippery, even more than the steel toys I have.

Nope, not many mods other than a rubber ring glued on. Try icicles no. 46. That will solve the problem

No 14 sort of solved the problem.... No 46 just looks like a mini version of 14.

No 46 is designed for prostate massage. The body is longer and curved for proper placement. Perhaps not ad thick but mobile

Has anyone tried the Icicles G08?
looks like it might solve that issue.

Yeah, I saw that one. They all feel a lot different - toys that look pretty similar, even the slight differences are a different experience in a session.
That one is quite a bit different... I'm guessing it is similar to the Progasm. G11 looked good to me though, although I started imagining ways that could get lost up in my butt too.

I was concerned about the placement of the perineum tab since it can be adjusted. You could adjust a Progasm if you needed to. The placement could affect the placement of depth.

Wow, I also just ordered the G08. It looks delightful. Was funny, as I just ordered the Icicles G07 (didn't notice the G08 until I saw this thread). https://www.pinkcherry.ca/icicles-gold-edition-g07-vibrating-glass-massager

As for the original post, you could maybe try a small rubber gasket (check the plumbing section of your local hardware store for sizes). I have to use one for my Tempo, as it often gets pulled in. My only concern is that the material used for these probably isn't safe, but luckily it stays external.

Yes... have been there and was always fortunate in retrieving 'lost' toys. I initially resorted to a lanyard tied to anything that looked suspicious but most 'lanyard' solutions tend to tear the anal sphincters as the 'robe' is pulled out.
@iceman99 's solution has worked best for me.
I've smoothed the surfaces on a garden hose washer as the outer most layer and fashioned an 'inner layer' from a circular piece of rubber cut from the base of an old douche bulb.

Well, tried out the 07 today. Was more just trying it out to see how it feels. In short, it was really good. I didn't as much lube as I would have liked (didn't have a lot of time for a good session, was more just testing it out). Also didn't use the vibrator attachment. It felt quite deep inside, in a good way.
One note, my journey has been really slow. I've been at this for 7 years, and have never had a mini-o, or "noticeable" involuntaries. Today I got really close to that with the 07. If I had more time, and used more lube, I think I would have had some significant progress, as some noticeable involuntaries had started.
My 08 arrives tomorrow, and I'll test that one out too in a proper session, and provide some feedback.

Got the G08 last night and tried it this morning. Didn't have a whole lot of time but here are some observations.Fits nicely similar to a Progasm.
The glass finish is a very nice feeling.
It stays in place and is quite heavy.
The glass warms with the vibe running.
All in all looks promising. Looking forward to having time for a proper session.
