Like a lot of ppl,I was having trouble with quotes just going on top of a post on my phone. I played about. I think..When you hit return and drop the cursed down a line of two,if you close the keyboard or using the text screen to scroll up,then the cursor must go back up to the text.
There is a large space on the emoji board above. I find if i don’t close the keyboard and use that space to scroll back up to whatever post I’m replying on,then the quote goes where I want it too.
So if it works for you,then great.
