I figured that I'd share my progress not only because I feel happy about it, but also so that someone may be able to provide insight as to certain aspects within the post.
I got a Progasm and MGX probably about 5 - 6 months ago and went to town with them, but never getting much pleasure out of them. The only thing I actually experienced with them was involuntary shaking of the muscles, but never any pleasure associated with them (other than the thought of that perhaps being arousal aroused me in itself).
I took a 2 - 3 month hiatus from the aneros due to a loss in hope and losing patience with the idea. However, sometime last week I decided to pull the Progasm back out of the drawer and give it another shot as I was feeling particularly happy and good-willed that day and had absolutely nothing on my schedule. I watched some porn with the Progasm inserted, laying flat on my back with my knees raised/bent. That session was pretty uneventful and after an hour and a half, I called it quits and fired off a traditional orgasm.
However, that session reinspired me to pick the Aneros back up, re-read the Wiki and look at forum posts again.
I just got done using the Progasm for almost 2 hours. There's no doubt in my mind that this is session provided progress, but I'd love some additional feedback or to hear other people's experiences.
For this session, I kept in mind more suggestions from forum posts and the Wiki. Specifically, I actually gave myself an enema and took a warm shower to relax. Mentally, I'm absolutely amazed that I did NOT go into this session with the attitude of "maybe this will be the time I get the super-O," or any variation of that attitude. Instead, all that was on my mind was along the lines of "Lets see what happens," and "I'm looking to just notice any feelings this thing provides me with."
I believe that attitude provided me with the greatest pleasure I've received yet. I began listening to Ecstasy by Kelly Howell as a way to keep me relaxed without letting me drift off (I have ADHD). Again, I played some porn and inserted and the Program and laid on my back with my knees bent/raised. Almost immediately I began feeling sensations that I never felt before! I'm assuming that this is what you guys refer to as "P-Waves," (somebody let me know if I'm incorrect). I began to feel slight tickling within my rectum and my arousal increased. I felt extremely relaxed and already felt successful that I had felt anything at all.
I allowed the Aneros to do what it wanted while I rubbed on leg hair and nipples to provide something for myself to due and perhaps increase stimulation. I continued to feel this tickling sensation and focused on what my body was allowing me to feel rather than thinking about what the Aneros is doing/how it is moving as I had always done in past sessions.
After 15 - 20 minutes I began attempting the "Tug-of-War" techniques and slight to moderate contractions in an effort to provoke involuntary contractions. To make a long story short, I was unsuccessful at provoking involuntaries. While there were times throughout the session that I let the contractions decrease or let go entirely and I felt additional tickling inside, it always subsided very quickly.
In the end, I could tell that I was beginning to feel impatient and I knew restlesness would follow - so the session was over.
While I'm extremely grateful that I felt sensations, I was hoping some others would share their experiences / thoughts with me and others on the board.
Also, I have one question in particular I'm hoping someone may be able to answer: In the sessions I've had, I've never leaked any pre-cum other than the small amount I always leak when viewing porn. I've leaked pre-cum before prior to Aneros using a vibrator. Does this mean anything?
Regards
"Lets see what happens," and "I'm looking to just notice any feelings this thing provides me with" is the perfect attitude for every session, IMHO. I got my MGX about a month ago, and the Eupho and Helix a week later. I make sure I have a session every day (and a couple on a few days), so I've had about 40 sessions. The more I can keep my mind off of all the "indicators" the better my session is. There is a lot to learn about what the Aneros can do. I feel I've just scratched the surface, and yet I've experienced incredible depth. The less I aim for stuff the more I hit the target.
One other thing I'm struggling with is entirely abandoning the thought/question of whether or not the Progasm "fits" me. I'm trying to get away from thinking about whether or not this model is too large for my stature, whether its in contact with my prostate, or any other excuse/negative thought I feed myself.
However, the doubt brings this up: while I brought up the internal tickling sensations I felt during my last session, I do not feel anything on my prostate. When I apply pressure to my prostate by means of a finger, I recognize the sensation being felt by my prostate. Since I'm not feeling anything on my prostate with the Progasm, could this mean anything?
I suppose this question also goes hand and hand with my unanswered question about whether a lack of pre-cum means anything during a session.
Hello Shadylx, 🙂

If you search through new users posts here in the forum, you will find that this is a very common issue. Until you start to re-wire and your prostate starts to awaken through time and practice, you likely will not notice any prostate sensations. Your most recent session was a very good start and gave you a glimpse of what is to come. Keep practicing as often as your schedule and body allows without hurting yourself. The more you practice, the quicker you will progress and re-wire.
I suppose this question also goes hand and hand with my unanswered question about whether a lack of pre-cum means anything during a session.
It means absolutely nothing in terms of how well your Aneros session are going. Some men make a lot of pre-cum, others little to none. Having pre-cum produced by your body is not a prerequisite for super-O's.

While I have a thread going, one other doubt I'm trying to diminish is the thought that there's no possible way the Progasm could be hitting my prostate. After my short session with minor tickling in my anus today, I decided to insert my finger so I could get a little more personal with my internal anatomy. One thing I think I noticed is that it seems my prostate is in a much more posterior position rather than superior. That is: when I stick my finger in, it seems as if I need to push my finger forward as soon as I enter the anus, rather than up and forward.
With that comes the doubt that the vertical length of either the MGX or the Progasm is effectively applying pressure on my prostate. Moments ago, while I was thinking about this issue, a thought occurred to me: could this just be a manifested thought that is really an underlying subconscious thought that I don't deserve this pleasure, and thus I almost convince myself that I'm anatomically different from you guys?
At this exact moment, I'm giving into this doubt. Specifically, I don't understand how either the MGX or the Progasm could be effectively lying against my prostate.
Again, I've experienced slight tickling with the Progasm in, but it always feels towards the rectum. Perhaps this is just another mentality I need to lay aside and let the Aneros and my body cooperate and do their thing.
Any advice is appreciated.
Also, the Progasm's P-Tab generally does not touch my perineum, its generally a quarter of an inch away from it and I can't get it to even make contact if I gently push it in myself.
Additionally, I modified my MGX but cutting off the tail, which I now regret. The P-Tab on the MGX does not, by any means, stay in any one area, it sways all over. The alignment is always changing horizontally.

I'm going to repeat this again because it is worth saying...
If you browse or use the search function of the forums, you will find almost identical posts from other new Aneros users with similar thoughts/issues. What you are experiencing is not unique. I would be highly surprised if your MGX or Progasm did not effectively touch your prostate. This practice for most men does not immediately develops results. Time and practice. Being so analytical and looking for something wrong with you, likely hurts your progress. Let it be, and make no expectations of your Aneros sessions.

That's entirely plausible. Now let that thought go. It doesn't benefit you to hold onto it and analyze it to death. If you like, you can repeat an affirmation of, “I deserve pleasure.” during your sessions.

Yes, the last sentence. That's where your head needs to be at! 😀

This may be because it is not inserted completely or correctly. If it has the feeling like it wants to push out you on it's own, then it's quite possible that you never got the curved tip of the Progasm to make it over and around your prostate. Once you've got it most of the way inserted, try gently rocking the handle forward and back to encourage the tip of the Progasm to find it's way over your prostate. Once it's done that it should settle in just fine with good P and K-tab contact. If this is not the issue, then it probably means you just need build up anal muscle strength through time and practice with your Aneros.
Additionally, I modified my MGX but cutting off the tail, which I now regret. The P-Tab on the MGX does not, by any means, stay in any one area, it sways all over. The alignment is always changing horizontally.
Yeah, that's my biggest gripe with this mod. I did it to my Helix and MGX many years ago. Although for what it's worth, I've found as I've gotten more experienced there has been less need to correct the P-tab placement with these two tailess models.
