I would like to share with everyone a new experience I had recently. One of the things I have found hard to overcome is getting tension in the tummy area while lying on my back, with knees raised. I have found this the best position for me, but with that problem.

I have followed to advice to breath deeply and this works for a time. But the tension creeps back until I notice it again. I have now found that this is because I am not sure where to feel my body while waiting passively for any sensations to start. So I experimented with feeling different parts of my body, or simply my whole body.

Then I found by chance that the best place is to feel the weight of my body resting on my buttocks. It seems I was ignoring all sensations of contact with me bed – my feet, my back, my shoulders, and my head. So I decided to stay with the sensation of my buttocks resting on the be. This immediately brought about a spontaneous relaxation of my whole body, including my tummy.

Then the weight on my buttocks began to feel erogenous. I had never really thought of that area of my body as being aroused. Slowly the sensations increased and the Helix Syn began to move and flutter, giving powerful sensations from my prostate. Then I found that attending to these sensations made them go away, so I kept my feeling on my buttocks, letting any other sensations go their own way.

This had two new effects. The first was that sensations spread from my buttocks up my back and over my belly. Some waves swept over my head and my mind became very clear and alert for a few moments. The second effect was that keeping my senses on my buttocks prevented my attention being drawn to my penis, which usually happens. Instead the usual ‘sexual’ feelings faded into the background and instead a new kind of deeper feeling radiated from my buttocks and to my lower back, the base of the spine. From there peaceful waves spread throughout me and my whole body relaxed and felt completely ‘open’.

I am sure this is familiar to the more experienced friends here. I would be interested in any thoughts about different ‘centres’ of the body. It seems to me that the buttocks and base of the spine radiate quite different kinds of energy to normal sexual arousal.

I have been at this for a few years and trust me the new discoveries never stop.I just finished a session that started with a strong tingle in my anus through my balls. It seemed like when it hit the end of my penis it had no where to go and triggered a fantastic dry O.

When you say that you felt the weight of your body on your buttocks, does it mean you were in a sitting position? Or you were lying on your back but concentrating on you buttocks?
Please, explain how you were positioned, because what you describe seems very helpful 😀

Thank you bobi1990, and sorry I did not describe my position very clearly.

I was on my back, with my knees raised a bit and my feet flat on the bed – a position a lot of people here describe as their best position. I found that if I feel my weight on my buttocks, near my spine, then I naturally relax, especially in my stomach area. This spontaneous relaxation brings about powerful sensations in my buttocks and up my spine, radiating to the whole of my back.

I mention this because I do not normally think of these parts of my body as erogenous. I suppose like most men I think of the genital area as erogenous. But I also mention it because up till now I have ignored the sensation of my body resting on the bed. Becoming aware of it leads to a slight sensation of floating and an increase in my heartbeat as well as deeper breathing.

I suspect that we have hidden habitual tensions in different parts of our bodies, and we find it harder to relax these parts than other parts. I think these habitual tensions inhibit the sensations of sexual excitement. They also make it harder to just wait for any sensations to come along by themselves.

I hope this is now clearer.

Fox star you are right about the buttocks,I just had a session where I took note of it. I made a point of gently rubbing side to side and in a circle,I had serious twitching in my stomach muscle and tingle up my spine that brought me to that oh so special place. To me it seems like different areas of the body take turns giving us pleasure.I have started using a 4 inch memory foam pad with a blanket over it.For me it just adds to the "floating on a cloud" feeling. This is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
