Sleep. A topic that I don't think is discussed enough and is also my biggest obstacle to a successful aneros session.

In the beginnings of my journey I was beyond motivated. I craved nothing but aneros. But do to my bussier life style these past months, my sleeping standards have begun to diminish. Theres just not enough time, between school, work, and social life I average 4 to 5 hours of sleep a day. Now I've always been able to survive off minimal sleep and kept going on. Recently I had been in a very long and crushing dry spell. I wasn't getting anywhere and was frustrated. But a recent discovery/realisation has saved me from it and now things have never been better. I was just too tired.

No matter how much you enjoy riding your aneros, sleep is essential. There were times I was buzzing all day for a good session but over time I got more and more exhausted to where I just didn't have the endurence for a full fledged session. Half the time I'd fall asleep and the other times I'd try to stay awake, distracting my focus and would result in a dud from trying too hard. I stopped using the forums, had maybe one session every two weeks, and it just wasn't fun anymore.

It was just draining. I just didn't have energy and was frustrated by my dieing motivation to the point I almost quit prostate play. This continued untill a couple weeks ago when I finally got a lucky break and had the chance to sleep well. The morning after two full days of just relaxing I had the best session I had ever had. It was amazing! Filled with new desire, I was remotivated and have now come to realize just how essential it is to be well rested and stress free. And I've been on a streak ever since, to the point where I'd consider myself on the beginnings of super o teir.

The point of me telling you guys this isn't just rant about my personal problems or success. I just want those people who are slow going or frustrated in their way, to just think to themselves. Is sleep affecting my journey?

You definitely need to be RESTED to have a good session. You've successfully proven that to yourself 🙂

I think this extremely valid, especially for me as I can recall a period when the progress was so quick and constant.

I would orgasm each day, mostly a less and my sexual desire would be super strong.

lately my libido is almost zero and each session seems to involve me getting good feelings within a minute or so I'm drifting off to sleep.

BUT if what you say is true then im not getting ANY sleep or being well rested when i do, all of the time? Surely thats not possible?

my only other explanation is that I've changed my diet to more of a veggie and so much less protein.... Could this cause it?

@Tatornator I agree 100%. I won't go into all my sleep issues, I'll only say that I see a huge difference between using my Helix on a weekday evening after a day at work, vs a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when I have usually gotten more sleep and am generally less tired out.
