Mulling purchase: new classic white or ice Progasm?

I have been very happily using a red ice Progasm for over two years. I thought I would try the new, 20th anniversary version and am mulling a purchase. To tell you the truth, I just picked the red one the last time because it looked cool; it came in ice. Is there any really difference between the classic, white version and the ice ones (ice and black ice) in how they work? Are there functional differences in the plastics on the outside? Or are they just different looking? Thanks for any advice. Eli

As far as the physical dimensions go, NO, there are no differences between the two models. However, there is a difference between the "Classic' model and the updated version design. Please see @Techpump's Review of the new Progasm!!!, the slight differences in design did affect the performance between the two versions.

There is a slight textural difference between the two models with the 'ICE' version being the smoother of the two. The difference has to do with the way lubrication adheres to the surface upon insertion with the standard finish having a slight edge in retaining the lube. However, once inserted and with equally sufficient lubrication some users feel the 'ICE' version moves more readily in response to muscle contractions. You might want to review the thread Progasm Classic vs. ICE.

Good Vibes to You!

@rumel Many thanks for the quick reply.

That thread you pointed me to is extremely useful. I did run a search on this site about this topic before posting and it didn’t come up. Either I did it wrong or the search engine is no good. At any rate, I am in the right place. Thanks again.
