Whether you choose to use the Helix first is up to you. Although it is certainly not necessary. Just be sure to be patient and insert the Progasm slowly. If it starts to hurt, pull it out, take some deep breaths, relax, and try again. Keep doing this until you are able to have complete insertion with no discomfort. I don't think your height and size will make a difference. Anyone who is not anally experienced gets a little scared when they first get the Progasm. I was shocked by it's size when I first got it. You'll be just fine.

The Progasm does look intimidating at first. Just use plenty of lube, relax, and it will slide right in!

for me, I will have to disagree with Love_is.... if I don't start out with a smaller model and work my way up to the progasm, it is quite uncomfortable and downright painfull. Regardless, the progasm is my favorite

I've found that I need a 15 minute sitz bath first in very warm water, then perform my rectal cleanse, lie down in bed, insert 5 ml of slippery stuff gel lube into the anal canal, insert my MGX in and out in widening circles a few times, coat the Progasm very liberally with gel, insert slowly using a scooping motion to get the head in, stop and then get the next bump in and then its pulled in all the way by itself. Just the thoughts sends tingles up and down my spine. 🙂

I was so glad to get it in I really didn't attempt the obvious. I plan on "getting there" in the morning!!

hlaser99's post (#38 in the thread) details his approach to getting settled down with Progasm. A couple of months ago I re-traced his footprints. Some of the techniques (turning the tool around 180deg.) might not make sense; but, his approach worked for me.

agree that the prostate stim is better using it the way Aneros intended; however, hlaser99's 'backward' insertion is "educational."

Ok, the Progasm is absolutely incredible! I "played" for about an hour, and it was full of surprises. First, when I got it in(which WAS a major stepping point-I love how the initial insertion takes a little time & then it just gets sucked in! What a rush!) ), I immediately oozed a drip of pre-cum, hmmm, this is promising, I thought...soon, I was on my back like I usually do, inhaling/exhaling, feeling really full and excited. I began to bounce and grind around and this thing really works for me-it seems to set off really good sensations from any direction, meaning it pleasures greatly in a 360 degree kind of way, if that makes any sense! Wow and :):):) for my leap from SGX to the Pro. All fears allayed now. Finally I got down on my knees and moved it by hand and had some awesome dry o's...the tabs are great for this, btw. For me, there is really no comparison to the pleasure this one gives vs my SGX!
I will try not getting warmed up with the smaller one in the future & going head on into ecstasy from the start. For all the pre-cum lovers, this one really made me ooze what could have been a small puddle! I would have liked to have kept it in longer(was in only an hour), but had to attend to some things.

just tried the 'reversed' progasm, my entire lower half was buzzing with tingles. at first the feel was a bit awkward, but as things started to work it moved around to 'just right'. the progasm actually started feeling like a little vibrator, had a bunch of somethings, (i dont use labels anymore) very exciting.
