Is it against the rules to exchange mobile numbers with others. I would like to keep in touch by text

While the Forum rules don't prohibit you from exchanging private information with other members, it would be unwise to put this information out in a General Discussion Forum posting where it can be viewed by the general public. If you have already negotiated a reciprocal exchange, it would be best to do so in a Private Message.
