Hi guys
I am still a newbie after only one month and have a question.
Yesterday I had a bad migraine and went to bed feeling horrid. Then I wondered if a session with my helix syn would help lift my migraine. I was not feeling horny at all, but thought maybe try it anyway. Nothing to lose.
Yet as soon as I put the aneros in I instantly felt aroused and my anus muscles began to twitch and I began to feel strong waves. After a while I fantasized a sexual scenario which increased my arousal enormously and gave me about 6 orgasms in about an hour. Not super O's but really nice, and the best one made me really relax instead of getting tense as sometimes happens.
My migraine was completely lifted. I wonder if other guys have had similar experience. I have never found a traditional masturbation helped lift a migraine.
@foxstar , yes I had migranes and my Helix Syn did not help. I felt good in my session but the headache did not go away. BTW, welcome on board! Keep writing about your progress.
Great thread gents! A few of us have tried to exchange some info on Migraine and orgasm here but haven't succeeded.
I've had incidents of Cortical Spreading Depression (CSD) since I was in my mid-20's. I get only one or two attacks a month and there's no headache to accompany them so I've opted to avoid medication. v These are preceded by 12 hours of increasing mental depression (mental funk) usually with mild nausea and IBS-like bowel upset. The visual patterns are typical of Migraine aura and resolve in 20 minutes after the onset. I then have 90 minutes of mental depression and low blood pressure--a feeling somewhat like post-ejaculation refractory.
My Super-Os follow several different patterns and sometimes the above aura will replace the Super-O visuals as the Orgasm fades.
Over the years I've intermittently kept a log of my sexual activity and how it affects the CSD. Up to age 30 it appeared that heterosexual arousal (usually with ejaculation) was effective in preventing occurrences of CSD.
I think that regular intense orgasm tends to 'clean house' somewhere in my brain, decreasing the incidence of CSD's but my frequency of Super-Os doesn't keep the head 'swept clean.' What I don't know: Is it the orgasm or the refractory after ejaculation that causes this effect. OTOH it might be something simple like 'preventing the mental agitation of intense horniness through ejaculation that works.
Intensity of mini-Os and chained involuntaries doesn't seem sufficient to do the job.
Perhaps keeping a diary to nail down the interval between an intense Aneros generated orgasm and the occurrence of a CSD event would offer.
Any thoughts would be welcome. Also, if anyone knows of a forum of related info, please post a link here.
Ggringo, from what you say it sounds as though you have grown out of migraines now. I have heard that as one gets older they become less frequent or intense. Glad if you have grown out of them.
Rook, your CSD sounds far worse than migraine, although there are similar aspects. I am a typical migraine sufferer, starting from when I was about 13. No treatment is effective, or may be for a time and then no more. Diet is important as some foods, such as cheese or chocolate, will bring on a migraine. Also MSG is lethal.
But like your CSD, there is also a psychological aspect. Migraine does not come with depression, but it does take the spirit out of things and makes one claustrophobic and withdrawn, both at once.
This feeling of being withdrawn or cut off seems to me to indicate a blocking of energies, physical and mental. This is why I wondered if an aneros orgasm might effect my migraine, by releasing or unblocking energies. The act of relaxation is itself part of this. I noticed that on about the 3rd orgasm my whole body completely relaxed or surrendered or gave up. And that was the most intense orgasm. After that I simply forgot the migraine as it was gone.
This is only my one-off experience, and maybe next time it will not work, as with most migraine cures or remedies. That is why I raised it here. So much has been said in these forums about energies, kundalini and so on that I wondered what the experience of others might bring to light. Also, migraine sufferers tend to be very aware of their different bodily and mental states.
@foxstar , my migraines went away a few years ago when I changed my diet due to high cholesterol. Reduced red meat to almost nothing, no salt and regular power walks. I had lost 35 lbs and with all that my migraines went from a regular basis to once every 3 to 4 months to almost all gone. My last one was last week while in a session; it was the first in 6 months. Good luck!
