Lubing wrongly? How to fix?

I've only done a handful of sessions, but I suspect that I may be lubricating wrongly. The majority of the lube that I put on the Aneros itself ends up sloughing off during insertion, and ends up between my buttcheeks. As a result, the toy is almost entirely dry on removal, and I'm not really sure what to do to try and fix it.

Things that I've tried so far:

* Using a LOT of lube, to the point where it drips off the toy very quickly.
* Lubing, inserting, removing, re-lubing, and re-inserting.
* Pre-lubing with a dropper.

Any ideas as to alternative approaches? Is this still just an issue of not using enough? Would trying a different lube brand help? (I'm using the stuff that Aneros sells on their storefront, which I believe is Sliquid but can't check presently.) If what I'm experiencing is normal, then that's also helpful to know.

Use a medical syringe to apply oil based lub internally before insertion.

Use a pellet coconut oil available in the cooking isle in supermarkets. It is solid at room temperature and can be simply inserted before inserting your device. As soon as it warms up it becomes a liquid and very slippery.

Try something like Vaseline.

Get a bit on your finger, then insert it into your hole a bit so that it's not dry. Then cover the Aneros with the vaseline, and then relax your outer sphincter and slightly push out with your sphincter to make it bigger, and insert.

I've had great success with original Boy Butter. It is an oil-based lube but washes off with water. Currently I am using Slippery Stuff Gel which I like for sessions. Some of the other water-based lubes are too thin IMO and get scraped-off upon insertion. I always look at the safety aspects of any lube I use. Good luck to you!

I bought a lube injector on amazon for about 10 bucks. It holds a child’s swimming pool full of lube. I shoot it up there, put a little on the aneros and slide it in. Hours of slick joy. I love liquid silk which is water based, moisturizing, all natural and no glycerin. It’s incredible stuff

i used to have sessions with inconsistent lubing but the injector took care of that.

I do what @lonewolf8 suggests. I use the Astroglide Gel. Put some on the end of middle finger of my right hand, reach down and lube up my sphincter. I'll do about 3 dabs of it, each time I push it into my hole a bit, then cover the massager... Then I'm good to go for the entire session. Pretty clean way to do it, no excess lube to deal with.

I like coconut oil I put in a ziplock bag and place in the freezer. Making into a small round shape. When I ready to ride take out the frezon roll use a knife and cut off a small part. Then push it inside me. Lol next I use Shea butter and lube the helix with a light coat. Insert and have a long ride. Both last a long time and are great. Happy riding
