I remember someone posting a recipe that included shea butter and coconut oil. I can't find it anywhere anymore. Can someone post it?
Also, slightly off topic, but what brands of the included ingredients should I buy?
This may not be what you wanted, but over the 3 years I've been anerosing I've gone from formalized, almost ritualized preps and lubes school to the KISS school: evacuation and clean up, a thin layer of Shea butter ( I like "NOW" brand ordered from Amazon) with a finger tip sized additional glob fingered "way up" ( you can use a small plastic glove finger or small syringe for liquid meds if sticking your bare finger in your rear is too yuk it). Then rubbing some olive or coconut oil on the Shea butter layer before inserting.. Keeping it simple gets you to the starting line quicker, tho' it's true that some enjoy the rituals. As has been said before by comrades smarter than I: WWFY: whatever works for you! enjoy...
@SquireTeddy,I must agree with @Armon-neat.
Nothing more than a small plug (about 3ml) unrefined shea butter, (chilled or frozen according to season), inserted a few minutes before the chosen tool, which has been lightly covered with shea butter and dipped in a small jar of KY gel, (just to make insertion of the tool easier).
Takes just a few seconds. No fuss and easy to clean up afterwards.
@SquireTeddyIf you want to use coconut oil then in winter mix with 10% Bees Wax in a double saucepan. In Summer (36°C+) you may want to increase the % to about 15. It has the same consistency as Shea Butter and does not liquify when the sun comes out! I guess it can be frozen as per @Pommie's instructions.
Just at the moment I find Shea Butter slightly irritating, nothing serious - it too will pass.
There is a new supplier in Oz of Shea Butter.

They also stock Aneros products at a reasonable price (includes postage)
Coconut oil is in every Supermarket and health food store.
Good natural Bees Wax may be difficult to get in some countries
@isvara this is interesting. I reckon that's the first time I've seen USB advertised specifically for prostate massagers. It must be catching on..!
Thanks for the link though, I've been buying it off eBay 'til now.
