I've read from several sites and a few studies about the effects of l-arginine and male sexual health. As some of you probably know already, l-arginine is a supplement that's converted into nitric oxide in the body, taken from WebMD: "L-arginine is converted in the body into a chemical called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide causes blood vessels to open wider for improved blood flow. L-arginine also stimulates the release of growth hormone, insulin, and other substances in the body."

Since it improves blood flow it's been used to enhance libido, orgasm strength, erections and so on, even if all men don't necessarily achieve the same results. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with L-Arginine and Aneros usage/prostate play/anal in general? On paper you could imagine it having an effect on prostate sensitivity due to the increased blood flow to that region but what I'm looking for is anecdotal evidence.

@lysettogmig
I sometimes take L-Arginine before going to bed and sometimes I forget.
From my experience, it doesn't matter that much.
I can have great sessions with or without taking L-Arginine.
I do feel that L-Arginine has positive effect on erection, but Aeros session and prostate orgasm is not about the penis.

All well and good, but one problem with L-Arginine, is that it can bring on cold-sore breakouts if you are susceptible.

Some say large doses of L-Lysine will counteract and suppress the outbreak, if taken consistently with the L-Arginine.
