Hello again Plantation,

I've read a little about Kundalini, but I'm still not sure what it is all about. But I would not worry about it. I do my "exercises" almost every day (using my Peridise), and circulate my energy as I explained in response to your other post, and I have not had any problem. The pleasure is so intense that I think I will pass on into eternity if it gets any more intense. Yet it seems to get better and better all the time, and I'm still here to tell you about it 😀

Best wishes,

GT

Hello Plantation, so French is your language. I've seen members here reply in French. I cannot communicate in French, but your thousand thanks was easy to interpret!

You are most welcome.

Best wishes,

GT

Kundalini is God's sacred fire, and it's represented as a goddess serpent, coiled in the perineum, just where the chakra muladdhara is located. That chakra has three layers, so the serpent sleeps deeply inside of it.

The awakening of kundalini (there is a lot of information on this in the Internet) supposes that the three layers of muladdahra fall, and the serpent is able to ascend through the spine till the top of the head. There she (kundalini) insuflates her power the to crown chakra, sahasrara, and the subject gets illuminated.

The kundalini awakening is not a one-time process. It has to happen many times, so the energy (of burning nature) cleans up the subtle channels of your body. Once you paths are completely dusted off she can completely ascend and feed all of your body's subtle centerd (the other chakras). Then you are an illuminated person, and you can see beyond what other humans can.

There are several ways to wake her up, but, basically, it's a process of self discovering. A continuous energy work (through yoga, meditation...) does so.

I've heard there are some physical ways to force the awakening, but they should be avoided, because an awakening in a non prepared person could cause him severe neurological damages.

The other way to awake her is through the Tantra, or sex with God. Taoist yoga does the same, too. Basically it consists on generating sexual energy and ascend it through your microcosmic orbit, a subtle path which departs from your perineum, goes up the spine, goes down the front part of your body and ends up in the navel (or the subnavel, ie, the lower dan tien, depending on the author).

There are reported cases (give "reported" the value you want) of people who have awakened during an intense sexual intercourse. Sex energy is very close related to kundalini, so an overexertion in muladara (the home of kundalini, and the subtle organ for ruling sex) caused K to rise suddenly.

Well, that's all I can remember by heart. Good luck guys!

Thank you for posting that andonitxo. 🙂

I know next to nothing about Kundalini. So it was very informative for me to read this.

Is the practice of all types of yoga designed, or meant to awaken the Kundalini, and therefor enlighten or illuminate the person? Or is it just Taoist yoga?

I like the term you use "sex with God"! 😀 The idea seems really neat, and appeals to me.
I have an interest experiencing the spiritual and uplifting aspect of having super-O's with the Aneros prostrate massager's. I'll get there eventually. Patience. 🙂

Kundalini is acknowledged in both Taoist and tantric yoga. Several other mystic traditions also teach of experiences very similar to Kundalini with their own terminology.

From my limited experience, the function of yoga (including but not limited to western flexibility exercises) is to awaken our consciousness. I would somewhat disagree with the notion of "sex with God". My preference would be "sex with the divine within me." Maybe its just semantics. I have found that using the Aneros in a meditative fashion opens up a number of energy channels and indeed brings me closer to the divine within me. I haven't had a full blown kundalini experience although I did experience a sensation that felt like a blast of hot water rushing up my spine that terminated about mid back.

Namaste

Hi BigE,

Thank you for the information. I like the concept of "sex with the divine within me" just as much as "sex with God". And yes, I suspect you are right that it is just two different ways of saying the same thing.

That's a cool experience you had with that feeling of hot water blasting up your spine. I had a mini-O yesterday during my Aneros session that was sort of like that. It was like the pleasure and energy was building and building as I flexed my PC muscles. Then when I relaxed them, this burst of pleasure and energy blossomed like a flower spilling out in what seemed liked a sphere centered on my crotched extending maybe 6 or 8 inches. It was cool because I could feel the energy sensation.

Love is Peace
