Veter-Anerians and Kegel Cowboys-

Would you please share your favorite Kegel reading or regimen?

I’ve read lots of experiences and advice on the matter, and have started practicing. However, while I am enjoying the new and different sensations, it feels a bit unguided. Ergo, since our community obviously knows more than anyone (sniff), it would be great to compile the definitive list of Kegel sources herein. I’m looking forward to getting some Kindle titles, and creating my own routines, but I’d like to hear what’s worked best and do some test driving. I’ll consolidate the recommendations if anyone’s interested.

Cheers, Z

@Zenopause I'm not sure I follow what you are looking for. Perhaps erotic lit, music, etc to arouse the prostate? Something to focus on while performing kegels? Thanks for a clarification!

Hey Zenopause 🙂

I'm pretty sure, "Minuteman's Dry Orgasm Guide" has the most comprehensive Kegel regimen out there:

https://www.pegym.com/forums/premature-ejaculation-forum/43320-minutemans-dry-orgasm-guide.html

I never had the time and patience to complete this regimen, but I might start again soon. 🙂

Thanks, Zenopause, for starting this thread, and thanks, DarkOrb for the link. I have been anerosing for over 5 years and I would say that I am happy with what my devices have done for me, and also for the A-less sensations, that I now can induce with Kegels. But I haven't really done straight Kegel exercises in years, and I'd like to go back to them. I think that they have more benefits than just helping us become good at dry O's. I used to have a Kegel app on my phone (about 3 phones ago), but haven't looked for one recently. You, two, have inspired me to look again. Happy riding and kegeling!!

So I would say I'm having sex or solo sessions about 5-10 times per week, probably a total of about 20 hours per week having really good strong orgasms.

I haven't been doing kegel exercises because I felt like my muscles need a break from all the dry orgasms and didn't want to over do it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have as good of sessions if my muscles are too fatigued from doing kegel exercises. Is that good logic, or should I do both?

I use a modified version of @BigGlansDC's routine here for training. Where the spincter, PC and cremaster each get a workout. So 10 on each individually, then 15 on each etc

For arousal I use @GGringo's routine here. The 100% clench of the cremaster makes my other pelvic floor muscles go mental. Not sure it is the cremaster muscle... but the middle muscle anyway. If you don't recognise that one dont worry, you will be clenching and excercising it without realising. Separate control will come in time.

There is also 'rectal pressure'/'reverse kegal'/'bearing down abdominally' that can play a part in moving an Aneros (particularly peridise or tempo). However Ive found strength training these unnecessary.
What you can do is practice your deep breathing while bearing down, as it is one of the harder movements to stay relaxed with.

Another practice for training or arousal, once you can identify at least two seperate muscles down there: Slowy clench one muscle while simultaneously slowly unclenching another.
Oh and when one of them inevitably starts spazzing out, relish it!

@Kazama I'm glad my program helps you. Thank you for mentioning it.

As for the middle muscle, one can identify it by clenching all the pelvic muscles together and then releasing them one by one (sphincter first, then PC) and the last one remaining is the cremaster or middle muscle if it's not the cremaster.

This is much easier when you have a good feel for identifying and controlling different muscles.

@Kazama, the more you do the Kegels, the better they feel. In fact, they become second nature, the more you do them. Also the Aneros was developed for the Kegels.

Gentlemen-

Much obliged for such thorough feedback and guidance.

GGringo: Wow. That's a terrific routine, one whose various components I've tried, just not all together. Your post prompted me into more advanced anatomical study of my best parts, too, something I think every man should do. Knowing more helps everything.

BigGlansDC: Same. Thanks so much for such comprehensive advice. Although the Pegym link that DarkOrb posted was pretty damn good too (thanks Mr. Orb), your and GGringo's applications were nice because they're so individualized.

Armon-neat: Totally agree. Kegels have gotta do more than even researchers have found, I'll warrant. Anything that focuses our energy and alertness on our sensual/sexual intersection is worth the work.

And shockedwaves: 5-10 sessions/20 hours a week? Good God man! What the hell are you eating? You're an inspiration to us all, unless you're pulling our...well...anyway, keep at it, you dog! My faith in mankind has been renewed!

Oh, and I came across (snick) a good site that referenced much more clinical research. Lots of smart, concise info, and more links for deeper reading:

https://www.risingmaster.com/locating-the-pubococcygeus-muscle-for-kegel-exercises/

Dude knows his biz. Great site for anyone wondering where these various muscles are, and how to identify and stimulate them.

Onwards!

Z
