The more I read books about Energy Orgasm, Energy Medicine, Tantra and others, the more I see the tie-ins with the successful methods and accounts of those here, I think many including me are rediscovering aspects of these disciplines.. The Free movement of energy and being able to access the parasympathetic nervous system seem to be the constants. I was a bit surprised when I read a description of the "diamond" posture that I use for my session ins the book Energy Orgasm by Ron James.
I'm wondering who here has specifically studies these disciplines and if they can share their insights. I think these areas can absolutely augment the aneros sessions, possibly helping those who have not been able to get their satisfaction yet.
The post below, (which seems to be becoming legendary) was just one that seemed to use many techniques and mindsets from the above areas. It was the best description of what I feel with the wet, release of energy that is felt from the penis that is relatively dry. I also identified with the description of the heroin like, blissed out state of love that occupies every cell in my body in my better sessions.

sjenz,
Your recent post clearly shows you have grasped the fundamental concepts of the deeply rewarding aspects of personal growth which the Aneros experience can induce. I invite you to contribute further by joining the SOS Sojourners and help develop this area of the Aneros experience to a wider group of men. Good Vibes to You !
I have discovered many of these techniques through regular progression of Aneros, Aless and beyond. Not to say that some "book-learning" would be interesting. But, like trying to follow a set-pattern for Aneros sessions, which would be counter-productive, I think one can make great progress without such esoteric study. Just my thoughts.....
Please don't interpret this post as an expression of any personal regrets Certainly, I've not studied Tantra in the depth that some men here have accomplished. Nor, do I attempt to apply carefully selected Eastern Religious teachings to my sessions. A handful of Anerosians like @artform and @ten_s_nut have brought formalized study into their being. Their orgasmic ventures and personal lives seem to have profited from those studies.
I classify myself as an Empirical Anerosian. So when something 'clicks' I attempt a retracing those footsteps in a future session with hope that I'm not missing some underlying factor that a true Taoist would have quickly grasped. Occasionally I'll open one of my favorite books and see how my intent and results compare with someone's written word.
In my early dating/mating history I was fortunate in sharing a year with a wonderful Japanese woman who introduced me to the Shinto side of her spiritual world. I found that her core fundamentals dovetail neatly with the American-Indian teachings of my Great-Grandmother. Physically, I have very limited and specialized military hand-to-hand training (just enough to protect my own personal weapon). I'm a sometime Tai Chi devotee at local "Saturday in the Park" Martial Arts meetings.I
My readings include most of Mantak Chia's short works starting with "The Inner Smile." Beyond those, I like Jon-Kabat Zinn's excellent writings on Mindful Meditation and Susan Rivers 'The Quiet Mind' My favorite reference book: "Spirituality for Dummies."
I tend to go into such studies just far enough to enhance what I'm doing and have experienced "incremental" progress from those studies.
Fewer than 50% of my Aneros sessions employ one of my two 'orgasmic tools' (Helix or Eupho) and lack an affirmation for high level orgasm. Most sessions are simply "play" sessions intended to provide joy and personal pleasure. Sometimes something 'clicks'and I export that tidbit into the orgasmic side of my Aneros action.
When someone is satisfied with their good and steady progress, there's no cause to seek out any new information. I had a period like this when I had eight or so sessions that were each better than the last. Then I leveled off, had issues getting back to the same level, then had the best ever sessions (last year). Since then I've not reached that point again.
My point is that the more I read various books about enhancing the sexual experience, the more I see how all the advice benefits aneros. I don't think I've read a single thing that would NOT benefit an aneros user, and when I see something I'm doing (after a few years of sessions) written in a book, I wonder what else can take me to new places that is already documented and waiting to be read and put into practice.
