Been using the Helix Syn for about a year now; had a few okay experiences with it but nothing extraordinary. But as of late I've been able to contract my muscles in a much more rhythmic manner which has allowed for more momentum to build to really nice orgasms. For the first time I've truly been able enjoy using the device, but yesterday something incredible happened that I will never forget.

I'm lying on my back on my bed with a pillow underneath my lower back, after 30 minutes or so start to have a few nice mini o's, which start to build to really strong, pleasurable orgasms. After about 1 hr 30 mins of this I'm maintaining a really good rhythm and feel another orgasm coming. It felt like it was going to be a big one, but I never could have expected what happened next...

As the climax approaches I begin to feel a profound tingling sensation coming from my fingertips, then into my hands, then almost instantly it races through to the rest of my body. I remember thinking "this is it, this is actually happening", and oh man did it happen. As this strong tingling sensation courses through my body I begin to feel all the muscles in my body convulse uncontrollably, it feels like I'm having a seizure. I'm completely paralyzed, gasping for air. This goes on for what could have been 1-5 minutes, I really lost all concept of time during this experience. I laid there in a daze for about another 10 minutes.

While I'm glad that I got to experience a true super O, I must say that while it was happening it felt a bit unpleasant. I was literally gasping for air, body completely stiff, I felt like I was hyperventilating. I was worried that I had paralyzed myself and that it was going to be like this forever, kind of how I reacted the first time I smoked pot. I freaked out. However, this makes me optimistic because now I really enjoy smoking pot. I think my problem with this last experience was that I didn't completely let go, which I've read is very important in making it enjoyable.

So, does this experience sound normal or abnormal? Does anyone have any tips on how to maintain breathing during a super O?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Another pot smoker eh? Enjoy your super o, stop the bloody complaining! I'm yet to even have a standard dry orgasm. So, in summary.... Shut up and enjoy.

Welcome to the forums, Bugleghost, and congratulations on what sounds like a great experience!

Maybe it felt "unlpleasant" because it was unexpected and new. I've found that the more often I experience these intense sessions, the more I learn to relax and breathe more naturally at higher levels of pleasure. It's kind of like if someone walks up to you and pokes you when you don't expect it...you tense up and jump. But when you learn to know it's coming, you gain more control over how you respond. Perhaps your experience will unfold similarly the more often you experience Super O's.

To me, there seems to be a rewiring process to get to the Super O in the first place, but it's not over even once you're there, as you clearly have seen from your post. Hopefully as you continue to reach Super O's, you can focus on enjoying the feelings, and practice relaxing your muscles and making sure you're getting enough air. It's really just a matter of getting familiar with the feelings of the Super O. Now you have a peak at what to expect (there's plenty more and many ways the Super O can be experienced!), and the next time it won't be as unfamiliar.

Welcome and enjoy the pleasure. As you familiarize yourself with the powerful experience, I think it'll lose its "unpleasantness".

Alex: I did not smoke this time.

Jaybird: I think you're right, I was not prepared for that this first time and was totally overwhelmed. But I'm excited to try it again now that I've experienced a super o, I think that if it happens again I will be able to relax much more easily now that I'm somewhat familiar with the feeling.

Thanks for the help everyone.
