I'm new to this so I was totally surprised by the size of the MGX. I thought it would be a lot smaller judging from the pictures i see online. I ordered mine from ebay for 40 dollars and I'm wondering if this looks legit to you guys?

I'm excited to use this tomorrow but I don't have ID Glide lube yet. What other alternatives can I find at a pharmacy like CVS, Eckerd? Vaseline?

I found ID glide at Rite Aid if you have one in your area. KY works OK. Vaseline would be my last choice. Don't expect much to happen the first go 'round.

fobsternd,

NO - this is not suitable! Please read the WIKI about Lubricants and the PM I sent you as well.

Well its too late to do anything about this now...but prior to aneros I tried to stick a finger inside my rectum but I used body wash soap and the lotion to dry skin. I probably did them no more than 5 times. Am I going to die now from rectum toxic poisoning? Should I consult an urologist?

"Handcreme works great on my dick, I'll just use that for my lube..." This is a bad idea, do not use any lubrication that has "FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY" printed on its label. Introducing any chemical compounds into your rectum has inherent risks of toxicity. Please remember your rectum’s lining is a very permeable membrane allowing chemicals to pass directly into your bloodstream, which is why medical suppositories are so effective. You certainly do not want to inadvertently poison yourself, be safe and only use personal lubricants specifically permitted for internal use. Most veteran users recommend use of water based lubrication, with the simplest chemical formulation possible.

Fobsternd,

Fear not Aneros Novitiate, you have now already learned the most important points, respect and care for the safety of your body. You are not going to die from “...rectum toxic poisoning” now that you are not continuing to put poisons inside you. Your body has wonderful mechanisms for detoxifying many harmful compounds but there are limitations to how often and how severe an exposure to these chemicals it can handle. As long as you have not experienced any adverse health effects from your former usage of the skin lotion or soap, there is probably no reason to see a physician. I just hope you think more carefully about any substance you take into your body and the possible negative consequences therefrom.

Sometimes I would get these really pulsating feelings on my perineum, it just feels so weird. Any idea what this is?

This is normal. The area of the perineum that the abutment tab of the Aneros stimulates is an accupressure spot. It's the beauty of this device in that it can stimulate this area, your anus and your prostate simultaneously! Perineal stimulation does not necessarily produce what one would think of as "erotic sensations initially. Very often these feelings take time to develop, here in the forum we often refer to this as an "awakening". Tingling, tickling, and pulsating are all good signs. Stay with it.

I would strongly suggest that you spend some time with the WIKI reading up on the Aneros experience. It's the easiest and quickest way to bring yourself up to speed on what to expect. It will also help you focus your questions for other users so you can get the most benefit from the Forum. Check it out!

Cheers,

BF Mayfield

Yeah but I didn't get these tingling, pulsating feelings from using the aneros though. I'll try it tonight for the 1st time ever.

Perhaps this is in response to some of your digital probing. There are some men that are very sensitive to anal stimulation and respond this way. Good luck with the Aneros and do check out the WIKI when you get a chance. Just remember, while some guys experience sensations right out of the gate, others acquire them more slowly, over time. Whatever your path may be, may you have a delightful journey.

Enjoy!
