Hi Everyone,
I just purchased a Progasm tonight, without really understanding the differences between the models. I had read about the Aneros line, and had a chance to buy one from a store here in Dallas. The Progasm was the only one they had in stock, so I went ahead and picked it up.
The size was a little concerning, but my wife and I have experimented with anal play before, so I figured it'd be fine. It went in fine, but I'm a little concerned about it being to big for me to enjoy. It just doesn't feel as if there is enough room for the thing. I'm 28, 5'8" and about 189 lbs.
So my question is......did I just flush $70 for something I'm never going to be able to enjoy as a heterosexual man ? Or should I just keep pluggin away and hope I adapt to the size? Could I hurt myself with this damned thing?
REally worried about this purchase, any advice is welcome! Thanks!
Hi vonpike,
Welcome to the Forum,
First off, there is little reason to be worried about hurting yourself with the Progasm. You and I are almost identical in size (I’m 5’8” @ 180lbs.) and I can deal with the Progasm just fine (although extended sessions with it do make me a little sore).
However, the Progasm would not have been my recommended first choice model. I think either the MGX or Helix models are better to learn with because of their higher mobility and more comfortable fit for newbies. If you can afford it, I would suggest you go ahead and purchase the MGX model to begin your learning with and hold onto the Progasm until you have “logged a few miles” with the MGX, the Progasm does certainly impart a more robust, forceful presence in the rectum.
IMHO you will learn faster with the MGX, though you can also learn with the Progasm, it just may take you longer to get accustomed to its larger size. I’ve sent you a PM with some other tips and hints.
Thanks for the advice man. To be honest, my wife and I just had a baby, so I prolly couldn't afford this first one! I only got the ok from the 'boss' because we are in the middle of a forced pause in our sex lives as she heals from the birthing process.
I wouldn't say that it hurts really, just seems like it doesn't have the room to move like I read others do.
Appreciate the PM as well, very helpful!
To add to Rumel's advice, make sure that you're empty - I always rinse out - & lube up well - I always squirt 4-5ml 'up 'there' - no matter which model I'm using.
Have fun,
Old Wolf
