So, I've been using Aneros for 5 years....and I can't get to the Super O no matter what.
I started with Helix, then I went to Program.
Some sessions I feel the build up-- but it always seems to end with losing the sensation....or when I think something is happening...the Aneros pops out
I have gotten to the point of stomach contracting good sensations....and during normal masturbation I can feel "good sensations" in my stomach area too without any prostate play.
However, it never seems to end in the powerful orgasms I hear hear of.
Five years.....I hear at most it is usually one year. So what can I do?
Hi
I feel your pain. I'm nearing 2 years and still not much progress.
At least your stomach contractions give you good feelings, meaning that you are ahead of some of us.
Perhaps you need more time?
Or perhaps a different device?
Never had an issue with the aneros popping out unless it was the progasm and I was standing up and my PC muscles were weak. I think these days it doesnt pop out due to better muscle tone, but I can't be sure.
Do you Do Nothing or do you do contractions?
Good luck!
@aneros_user88164 What is your situation when you engage in a session? Are you free of stress, do you have plenty of alone time with peace and quiet? Are you watching porn? Is your expectation in check? Proper state of mind is one of the major key to success.
The 5 years without reaching the ultimate orgasm is obviously weighting on your mind. Give us more details and maybe someone can pin point the cause.
@donpelon , good advice. I also need to do more of what you suggest. Thanks
@donpelon interesting post. However what happens if you dont get any of the sensations you should be getting? is it just the quivering or something else?
Ten plus years here.
I think I can say I have had light HFO but nothing so earth shattering that I can say I have had a Super. I enjoy most sessions and have removed all expectations since some are better than others, some are exquisite, some are just nice.
I have most models and tend to practice infrequently since I don't get alone time. My wife is okay with me using them but not alone... she wants to be part of it.
I wish I knew how to get over the hump, but I am happy with what I have learned. Reading the blogs and wiki make me want to try frequently but time doesn't allow and most I have tried once if not twice.
It does work, just not as well as me. Yet, I am still happy and I still want to learn more.
All I will say is; never give up. It may take longer for some of us, it has for me, but you will progress if you let go of the notion of "5 years and nothing". I purchased the tempo and tried lying on my front, I focus on the heat and weight of the device and it has started to do what no other device has yet to do and I am now moving forward after years of being stuck. I was finding that the positions I adopted just weren't right so for me It's just about finding the right device, the right position and the right focus.
Have fun exploring which works with those combinations, that's my best advice 😉
It took me many years but i got there.

Yeah I'm into 4 or 5 years and nothing extraordinary at all, and sessions very rarely get something. In the beginning I had better reactions.
But now I'm in depression meds and it seems my testosterone has been lowering all these years and this year was below normal, I'll remake the testosterone check in the end of this year.
One thing I miss and people say it's important is sex drive, I have close to nothing. Also I never got involuntaries.
I'll keep trying but it's frustrating to have almost nothing back. I'm not even talking about the super o, medium-high dry orgasms and full body feelings are also something I never had.
I've been using it since Sept 2014. I think I've had the Super O on at least 2 occasions. It takes most people a period of time for the body, prostate, energy and such to establish themselves, also it takes some time for you to learn how it feels when it hits the right spot. I started with using anal muscles to make it move and had some ok feelings in my first half dozen sessions.
I didn't begin to get it until I went to the "do nothing" method (called this because it's not about flexing muscles to move the device.) I just realized recently why I think this is the superior and more 'pure' method. Unlike masturbating or flexing muscles, the do nothing method allows you to be FULLY present and FULLY into the sensations and experience because you don't have to be doing two things at once. I'd say the critical thing with the do nothing approach is to be disconnected from outcome while at the same time in the mindset of "positive expectancy", SURRENDERING to the wisdom of your body, and WELCOMING the feelings to intensify. Once you get some chance rubbing of the prostate your body will start to get a rythm of what works to make it happen again because it is going to crave that experience again.
Now I can can get very nice feelings in the first 5 minutes with this method and the best feelings of the session usually in 20-25 minutes.
I do recommend also to try in a dark, quiet room with no distraction or worry occupying the mind. I think the absence of sensory inputs assists in the focus of the mind on the area and sensations. Ideally the temp is warm enough to have no blanket covering your body. Foam ear plugs help to cut out one more sensory input and allow you to go into the sensations.
I find the best scenario is to have had a bowel movement recently, but not immediately before.
I try and eat and drink something two hours in advance, so I can poop, pee and have no urination sensations.
Try a bit of everything, try just being still and focusing on where you imagine your prostate to be, and for any movements in the device. Deep breathing to the belly seems to help, I think it subtlely moves your body and gets some sensations going internally. It also switches your nervous system to the Parasympathetic which is advocated by those experienced in Tantra and expanded orgasm. Those same people advocate a sighing moan on exhale to awaken the sexual energy movement in the body.
It can help to focus on how the prostate feels to pump and jump during ejaculation, this can set off some movements and contractions. It can also help to feel and imagine that the prostate and the aneros have an magnetic attraction to each other. Try to feel or at least imagine that you can feel the end of the Aneros and where your prostate is and that they are coming together.
The only position I've ever tried is lying on the back with a multilayer towel under the butt so the tab on the aneros isn't hitting the bed and soles of feet touching and knees outward. It's kind of a meditative posture. It was very interesting to see that this position is called the diamond and is reccomended in the book "Energy Orgasm" by Ron James. I additionally put my right hand cupped over my testicles and left hand over my chest/heart.
The thing that took me to the next level after I'd already had some good success was when I started opening my sessions with what most people would call affirmations. It sounds kind of stupid and self-helpish but for some reason it was quickly effective and had a strong effect. Basically after lying down I do nothing except place my attention into the prostate area and say affirmative things in my mind like "My body is relaxed" "My mind is relaxed" "My body is open" "My Mind is open" "My spirit is open" "By body is horny" "My prostate is horny" "My body knows what to do" "My prostate knows what to do" "I call in all knowledge and wisdom of prostate pleasure" "I call in orgasmic energy from the universe to my prostate" etc, etc.
Something about this process was very effective, I think it both calms the body/mind/spirit as well as sets an intention, and if you subscribe to metaphysical... it may actually literally be calling in success and energy from the universe and those who have come before you (pun somewhat intended)
Something else that at first seem at odds. 1) is to hold things in place just where it feels good and staying with it until a change is in order. 2) is to also realize when you are holding tension in your pelvis, anus, etc and to release that. I think that allows the device to fall a bit and move backward, then after a while a rythm builds. If you hold tension all the time I think it somewhat dulls the parasympathetic nervous system. I think a relaxed muscle has much more potential to contract so being able to relax sets up the next involuntary muscular pull more than if the muscle was just constantly tensed. But mileage may vary.ac
Sometimes it seems to help to enjoy the sensations and to try to avoid anything orgasmic. This on occasion has led to such a build up that something involuntary begins to happen and it goes to someplace new. It's kind of the opposite of enjoying the feeling but wondering when the orgasms are coming.
