Hello Liam9, 🙂

Generally the MGX and Helix are the two recommend beginner's models. Or SGX in place of the MGX if you are 5'6” or less in height. The only time the Progasm gets recommended for new people is if they have had previous anal play experience with medium to large toys with no issues.

I am pretty exp with anal play, I use 1.5" in dia around 8" long which feels great,
But for some reason I am feeling a little discomfort from the progasm.

yea, the progasm is a little bit pointy so it has a tendency to get stuck at some places, you probably need to wiggle it around a little bit before it settles into place, i felt the same way, a little bit of discomfort, but a little wiggle and plenty of lube solved that problem,

(oh, and bending the unit and inserting it at a angle so the tip goes in first (straight in) and then straighten the unit out and inserting the rest)

But the progasm is one of the best models out there, since it really *hugs* the whole area in that perfect grip that is soo sweet, that is hard to come by in the smaller models...

I have no problem getting it in there. Once it is in, I seem to have a tough time adjusting to it. Maybe I need to be more relaxed. I can recall once it felt fine inside. Think I might try a smaller one to start. Thanks for all you help guys.

Hello Liam9, 🙂

Yes it is possible you may need to be more relaxed, but seeing as you are anally experienced, I'm less inclined to believe this is the case. It's also possible you are having a reaction to a glycerin based lube that makes it uncomfortable. Read the "1.) Water" section in the Aneros WIKI in the following link:
Getting Started - Aneros Wiki

Please keep in mind though that it is very much possible to get the Progasm fully inserted, but it is still not seated properly. So don't just assume that because it is completely inside you that it is sitting correctly within you. Re-read Cyrez's post and also read through my post in the following thread:

Hopefully you can get this figured out.

Thanks Love_Is! I think you are right. Can I ask what lube do you use in your adventures? I am going to checkup on the links you issued me. Thanks about buddy!

Hello Liam9, 🙂

No problem. The lube I use is unrefined 100% shea butter that is pale yellow to white in color. I specifically use the "Now Solutions" brand. This is a natural plant based oil that comes from a nut. It's great as I never need to re-lube in a Aneros session, and I don't need to use an applicator or syringe to pre-lube my rectum as the shea butter is solid below about 76F. Finger work fine to insert. Here's the main shea butter thread if you want to research it further.
