I have been wondering if after a period of abstinence the prostate will go to sleep again and the sensitivities produced by rewiring will begin to fade or even disappear altogether. My limited experience so far leads me to believe that this will not be the case and that once rewired one will always be rewired. I'd be interested to learn any others' views on this subject.
Great question. I look forward to hearing others' opinions

The short answer to your question lies in the cliché ? “You can't unring a bell.” but also, as that cliché implies the resultant act fades over time. The phenomena of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroplasticity ”">neuroplasticity teaches us all our experiences continue to change our neural network and that repetition of similar actions reinforce and strengthen the neural connections. Likewise, abstinence, does not reinforce those connections and newer repetitive behaviors will seemingly overwrite the older established neural connections to the point they may seem erased but they are really still there, only disproportionally small compared to the newer patterns.
Good Vibes to You !
Abstinence hasn't "worked" for me. I so much as sit still, aless, and the pwaves start again. Especially after excercise. On the good side - long plane rides are now enjoyable - I just sit in bliss. On the bad side, I'm told, "you look so serious" as the p-waves take control of my facial muscles and purse my lips.
