Is age a contributing factor in how quickly we achieve results?
We often read about newer Aneros users achieving the Super-O in a relatively short period of time in their newly discovered experiences. Meanwhile, there is no shortage of members writing about their frustration of slow or no progress in achieving the desired level.
Could it be that younger prostates are more receptive to changes?
I'm at month 11 in my still developing journey. I admit I'm miles ahead of where I started; back then, my prostate had gotten lazy and flirting with conditions usually attributed to males of my age.
What's your opinion?
Thats a curious thought really, I too have wondered this. I've wondered whether I'm one of the yongest forum members or not because I'm only 17. I think some of the relative factors of age and success with aneros would be: brain and bodily development, wisdom, patience, and overall maturity. In contrary though, you could argue that younger men have more endurance and have a 'less' dramatic rewiring in general due to them being younger and less experianced. Its less to unlearn is what i was attempting to state
I think I've progressed faster than most but that could be caused by any amount of contributing factors, or I may just be wrong. But I do believe I've hit super O territory and if I'm not, I dont know how much more pleasure I can handle mentaly xD. Things are already getting pretty squirmy.
I'd like to see alot of replies here, it's an interesting thought!

Early 30s here. Started 2 years ago. Not much success here.
Could frequency of use be a factor?
I use various Aneros every day or every other day.
I've been told that I am over-doing it. That I should be using once a week for example.
Could mental pliability be an issue?
If I go on the Aneros Chat and tell of my experiences (after being asked), I would sometimes get conflicting information, like that I'm doing things wrong, or that I'm not there yet. Or that I am doing it too many times. Or that I am over-focusing/over-obsessing. Or that the sensations (what little ones I do get) are not the correct feelings to have etc.
This just adds to the confusion, feeling of dissapointment and frustration.
The guys that have success.... perhaps they just ignore everyone else's comments and somehow know how to get on with Aneros sessions and somehow know what the different sensations should feel like, and can recognise what they are when they happen?
Maybe for some, the choice of Aneros device is possibly an issue. Maybe they need to try different ones. I've got 6...
So I'm not sure if age is a factor. If it is, perhaps I'm an outlier in the statistics.
I think we are dealing with arousal here - not ages. If you are very much arouse - it's much easier to get the importen connection between brain and prostate. I think the rewiring proces is difficult to deal with. I meet the items described in WIKI but I have not yet had a Super O. I am in the final 40s.
@lonewolf8; I can understand your frustration. My advice is to get more arouse when you have your Aneros sessions. I have tried with vibrators, which has given me more life in my prostate. It's fantastic. Finally, every day I try with Aless where I flex between my PC and anus. It results in a tickling in my abdomen and some good P-waves but I don't come any further from there. Frustrating, because I do not know how far I am on my journey.
Preliminary Remark
Hi guys, this isn't a competition, is it? To me it's a journey. And I believe everyone's journey is his unique destination.
On this understanding we must avoid to compare the incomparative and consequential frustration.
As I see it, progress of re-wiring can't be a matter of age as long as I, near the mid fifties, feel quite the same as this teenager does.

And because re-wiring brought me back experiences I only knew from teenage years, like the sudden boner while having lunch yesterday, I can't any longer regard age as a determinant.

Affirmative!
Therefore last but not least thanks @GGringo for your interesting thesis.
I'm 47 and I think I've made good progress in the week that I've been Anerosing. If it gets even better, I'm looking forward to it.
53 here with a long history of prostate stimulation. Started in my early teens! Explored and enjoyed hands-free [really handy with a nosey Mom, lol] improvising anal toys, use of underwear etc. Main thing to remember is that prostate stim, multiple orgasms, separating orgasm from ejaculation all revolve around radically unlearning everything you know about ordinary pump pump jerk jerk masturbation.

Well said. One sentence full of wisdom!
