Is it worth upgrading to Progasm after 2 months of zilch with Helix?

I have been useing the helix now for about 2 month and apart from some interesting new sensations in the first couple of weeks I've had nothing to write home about since. I'm not frustrated and am just taking each session for what it is but I'm slightly preturbed that there might be not much contact with the Helix on my prostate. I have been doing the advised breathing/comtraction techniques and having breaks of at least 2 days in between sessions. Getting the involuntary contractions going has been quite hard although initially when the aneros is in after about 5 minutes I get these very slow churning contractions that seem to be from muscles deep within that seem to move the aneros real slow, it feels quite nice and I seem to be able to keep it going by breathing slow and steady but it lasts for only about 5 minutes after which it doesn't seem to get going again. I usually use the aneros just after retiring and I suppose I kind of drift off a bit as I have an active job and then I wake up and nothing is happening. I use a water based lube (sliquid) which is nice and smooth and a completely organic product, oils are out for me as I am prone to getting yeast infections and oils provide a nice breeding ground for candida to develop and multiply. Anyway i finally come to the point of asking if upgrading to the Progasm would be advantageous as due to it's larger size it may provide better contact with the prostate and after reading some of the feedback on the forum it seems that it might be worth a try. I know everyone is built differently so I'm not expecting it to be the perfect solution but thought that it might help me to feel the prostate being massaged better. Interested in what some of the more experienced useers have to say aswell as recent users of the Progasm. Thanks.

its be a no-go in general but may show you he helix does make enough contact with your prostate. try having a relaxed session without doing contraction exercices. just tense your sphincer slightly to keep the wormlike inner movement going. when being really aroused at the end of your session finish manually. a good choice would be to kneel and sit on your heels so the aneros can move freely.when the ejaculation starts the pc muscle and anal sphincer do the involuntary dance and you will feel the prostate being massaged.
try to focus on your prostate and the orgasmic feeling deep inside. thats what it could feel like "hands free".

Thanks for that it sounds an interesting thing to try. I should have mentioned that also the tab on the Helix never seems to stay in the middle, either moves to one side or the other even when I put a pad of folded tissue under it. The tab on the Progasm is more spherical and has a bigger surface area which will cut down on the effect of the tab moving from the centre I suppose.

@tickle, It may be that your prostate is not awakened yet. If it hasnt then your not going to feel much pleasure or contact with your prostate. Two months is not much time and everyone has their own path in this journey, it may take you a little while longer to wake it up. I'm not trying to discourage you from trying another massager, just saying it might not be the solution your looking for. If the prostate is not awakened then no massager is going to feel as if its contacting it or providing pleasure. If you have the money go for it. If not, then i would say keep practicing with your helix.

It is tuning into these subtle sensations which will reward your rewiring into the future. Please do not dismiss these beginning tiny steps, they are the foundation upon which your growth is dependent. They are the first input to reprogramming your sensual response system so pay attention to them, validate and nurture them so they can grow into full fledged waves of orgasmic pleasure.
I usually use the aneros just after retiring and I suppose I kind of drift off a bit as I have an active job and then I wake up and nothing is happening. For most men, attempting to enjoy an Anerosession when tired after a long workday and likely not being highly aroused is almost certainly going to lead to lackluster 'dud' sessions regardless of the Aneros model being used. Being well rested, relaxed and aroused are essential attributes to having enjoyable Anerosessions. Your state of mind is critical to the "zoneros" process. Your body and mind must be in sync with each other for you have truly enjoyable sessions....i finally come to the point of asking if upgrading to the Progasm would be advantageous as due to it's larger size it may provide better contact with the prostate and after reading some of the feedback on the forum it seems that it might be worth a try. I know everyone is built differently so I'm not expecting it to be the perfect solution but thought that it might help me to feel the prostate being massaged better. It is true that each Aneros model provides slightly different feedback sensations to each individual user, however, the differences are not an order of magnitude apart. The Progasm is the largest Aneros model and will certainly give you a 'full feeling' but it may actually give you less massage action due to its lower mobility, especially if your pelvic floor muscles are not sufficiently developed to direct the movements required. Perhaps a better alternative would be the Progasm Jr., which should prove to be a fuller feeling, aggressive, yet remarkably mobile model as compared to your present Helix model.
Good Vibes to You !

I too am two months in, and have not awakened my prostate yet. I think I am feeling at least a small amount of pleasure though from nipple stim after a few weeks of playing with them. I started doing that because I could get aroused from it, and now things are starting to evolve.

Like you, I started my Aneros journey with the Helix model. I had very similar results as you mentioned. My main complaint was that the p-tab always shifted off-center of my sweet spot. "Mind noise" is very hard to overcome as it is,and the movement of the p-tab always kept me wondering if I was positioned right. (I now know that super-O's are achievable in many shapes and sizes and perfection is the killer of spontaneous pleasure and enjoyment when it comes to aneros)

Anyway, I would definitely suggest a progasm or a jr as Rumel said. After having a more aggressive massage of the prostate, you may be awakened to more prostate pleasure and "Butt Buzz" in between sessions. I have since gone back to the helix and have had much better results since my early days. Above all, be assured that you have not wasted money on a piece of plastic, think of it as a sports car in a big garage. Sometimes you want the horsepower, other times you want the tight steering...and sometimes you want both! lol I digress, but each model has its own personality and pluses and minuses. It really depends on your mood and as you get more experienced your body will tell you what model it wants to drive/ride.

Enjoy! Best of Luck

Finding the right time of the day is important. Determine when you are processing the least amount of stress. For me, the morning is best. After work I have way too much "noise" to deal with. Stress is my Super-O enemy.

I totally agree with @neuro. I seem to be collecting them all. When the excitement dims with a model, I switch. They are all different and effective. What seems disappointing now, will be brilliant later.

And yes, I want tight steering, horsepower, a little bit of vintage, and company to enjoy the back roads to a little winery. I want it all. Digress away!

Many thanks guy's for all your feedback and Rumel for a thorough breakdown of my query, I will think about purchasing the Progasm Junior as my next aneros but maybe keep going for another month with the Helix to see if anything develops as rewiring is obviously still taking place and I think I should change the time I have my aneros sessions so that I am more relaxed and not in a tired state to see if it makes any difference. I think me useing the word 'zilch' was probably a bit harsh as I have had little episodes where I've been aware of certain sensations. I can remember when I just kind of moved from being flat on my back and up into a sitting position on the pillow. As I sat up into this position my whole body seemed to shake uncontrollably but just for a second or two and it felt 'Wooee!' what the heck was that? and I tried to repeat it doing exactly the same movement a few times but it didn't happen again. So I think when things do hit that they will be totally unexpected and out of the blue but I may not remember how exactly it happened in order to repeat it as I think this is more a subconscious thing going on than a conscious one but I do know some guys seem to be able to direct things in order to get the results they are seeking as they know what the triggers are which will not be the same for everyone.
