Is Hands free and Aneros free prostate milking useful?

I used to ooze occasionally when having a BM on the toilet. Today I could kind of control it and milked myself a couple dozen drops. There was no pleasure to it though. Is this useful at all on the aneros journey or is there no way to use this? I still don't really know if I'm doing PC contractions correctly. Would this help me to know which muscles those are?

I experience this, no pleasure also. I would like to know if this is useful/safe too.

helixguy,

The "Aneros journey", is related to the use of focused prostate stimulation in order to produce a non-ejaculatory, whole-body orgasm.

"Prostate milking" is not stimulation but rather the manual expression of the gland and has separate goals that do not necessarily involve orgasmic sensations. Indeed in some circles it is the very notion of the denial of orgasm coupled with the forcible extraction of "ejaculate" (really only prostate fluid and precum in this case), that is the aim. Some other folks perceive a therapeutic advantage by using this method, i.e to relieve prostate congestion. Still others enjoy the visual stimulation associated with producing large amounts of fluid from the prostate and watching it drip and ooze from the end of ones penis.

"Hands-free" orgasm involves ejaculation so it is by definition something other than an Aneros experience, which is again a non-ejaculatory orgasm. The technique involved in producing the HFO is quite different than that used with the Aneros or other whole-body orgasmic methods.

IMO neither of these things are particularly useful in terms of the "Aneros journey", that said they may make for some very interesting "side trips" if you are so inclined.

With regard to the safety of "prostate milking" it kind of depends on your source of information. There are many in the medical community who would say that this is something to be undertaken by a physician only. While those in the alternative medical community contend that it is safe with some education and/or training. In fetish circles the indication is often that "milking" is something that anyone can do with relative safety. Personally I'm of the belief that it takes some training and/or education in order to proceed with this safely. In addition to that it should be noted that there are certain individuals with particular health concerns (acute prostatitis, metastatic cancer) that should never undertake this.

With respect to using either of these methods to help identify ones PC muscles, an easier way is simply to urinate in the shower or into a toilet and while doing so slowly shut off the flow of urine with your muscles. The muscles that accomplish this are your PC muscles. As awkward as it might be, if you were to insert a finger in your anus at the same time, and started to shut off the flow of urine slowly, you would feel a slight anal twitch perhaps but not necessarily a total anal contraction. This is because these muscles are separate and can be employed independent of one another. As the PC contraction becomes stronger it often triggers a simultaneous anal contraction which leads many people to believe that they are one in the same.

Cheers,

BF Mayfield

I occasionally do the same thing, particularly if a larger or firmer shaped stool than usual hits my prostate just right when it exits. There's no real pleasure, though sometimes a little tickle like, "Ah, that's kind of nice".

Would this decrease sexual desire afterward? Is it linked at all?

No desire change here, I originally though that I had an std that caused it, I still find it unusual and this only started happening when I used the aneros device wrong a few years ago and caused pain, now it drips out every time I have a big bm. I do t know if it's normal but I feel it's linked in some way.
