Is all pleasure of ejaculation caused from the orgasm?

You can verify that quite easily. If you ever masturbate and manage to get on the edge just before the orgasm, if you contract your PC muscles a lot, it's possible to ejaculate but not have any orgasm.
It happens me a lot when I got the aneros. If I am on the edge and I contract a lot the aneros I will ejaculate with a constant flow of sperm and not have any orgasm.
It's pleasant to ejaculate but it's not as strong as the orgasm.

If you believe you had an orgasm during your Aneros activity, you may well have. It seems that orgasms associated with prostate massage do often last for several minutes, albeit not as intense as those that occur at ejaculation.

Yes, I also believe that orgasm and ejaculation are two quite separate events, in spite of the fact that I was told recently by a medical doctor (GP) that they are one and the same thing and are therefore inseparable!

It seems you had a dry O and it may even have been a super-O. Does it really matter? The important thing is that it was obviously very enjoyable and you may very well experience similar, stronger, more intense, longer lasting and excruciatingly blissful orgasms in the future.

Thanks for the input. @Pommie. I'm just trying to gather information the prostate orgasm, and what kind of realistic things I can expect to experience. I won't come out and say people are dishonest I will just say that some of what people have described as the super-o I find to be somewhat uhh misleading.

@jja, I have been using aneros devices for two years now. I wouldnt describe people as misleading as everyone experiences orgasms differently, especially prostate orgasms as they are essentially a mind orgasm. With the mind, the sky is the limit. Some of us will never reach our full orgasmic potential basically because of ourselves and limits we place on ourselves(just my opinion). Also just becasue you may have felt your orgasm was kind of lack luster compared to a traditional orgasm, doesnt mean they cant and will not be more powerful in the future. In fact many on here will tell you they had been having prostate orgasms for a while before realizing that they were even orgasms, until later on. So bascially what im saying is orgasms come in all shapes and sizes. I truly hope you eventually have a completely mind blowing super O and become a true beleiver!

A Review.

I cannot say what I experienced in my earlier years but in later years I mistook "release" in ejaculation for orgasm. The feeling of release after the build up satisfied me. It became almost mechanical. Now that a natural erection and ejaculation is failing or non existence I realise that I have been missing the deeper and more fufilling satisfaction of Orgasm. I think as has been said so often in these posts average the male may never understand the difference.

My advice to fully functional guys (grandpa speaking) is while you are able to get to ejaculation easily and/or a natural erection, start getting behind it to the next level that does not depend on traditional ejaculation for satisfaction. It may mean while using an Aneros to refrain from direct penis stimulation and EJ to build up an energy to move on the the next step. Yes, it may be frustrating - so pace yourself. I like the advice given not to EJ in an Aneros session unless that is the intention. Some sessions should be only "Penis Not" or "Do Nothing" or "the Detached Observer".

In my case I have to retrain. At my age a natural erection is rare and if there is an EJ it is unrecognisable as a traditional release. This means I cannot easily make the shift to a pure orgasm by building up sexual energy in the old way. This makes it quite a challenge, which I am happy with. It would have been so much easier years ago.

Perhaps I just haven't experienced the strongest dry orgasm available to me yet, but I have noticed that while the dry orgasms caused by aneros are very pleasant, ejaculatory (or wet) orgasms feel far better.
