I am a fairly new owner of a Helix. My second session I was able to have several P-waves which caused my body to shake involuntarily. To achieve this I was doing manual contractions going both ways...pushing down like a BM (contracting rectum) and then contracting my anal opening.

Last night if I only contracted the anal opening, I was able to have involuntary contractions on the "downswing". I could keep this going for about 10 contractions and then I lost it. I switched to contracting my rectum and I had involuntary contractions on every one. I ended up with a few p-waves until I manually finished.

When I'm contracting my anal opening, the involuntary contractions that I do have are much much more pleasurable, but I can't seem to keep the involuntary ones going.

What works better for you....pushing out or squeezing it in, or both??

Relaxing works best for me.

When I make one or a series of voluntary contractions I then either relax or return to a 'base contraction level (see the Wiki). Then I wait patiently for the involuntary contraction.

I play the voluntary - involuntary game at the anus or rectum. Then focus on those involuntaries as they extend beyond the anus-retum to other muscles. If they get weaker then I pump in another voluntary. hth .... rook
