I have been reading this forum for a while now and this is the first time I have ever posted. I am 21 and purchased the Helix about 6 or 7 months ago. Since that time I have only tried it about a dozen times. I have noticed that with each try, I feel a new senstation or learn something. Last night was my best yet.

I have learned a couple things about myself, and I employed all of them last night which is probably what led to my breakthrough. First off, I perform better when I have abstained from any sexual release for a couple of days. Second (as much as it kills me), being patient and refraining from doing powerful contractions is key. My body responds much better to light contractions than hard ones. Third, so far the only position I have had success with is the side with right knee pulled up position. Fourth, I finally figured out the difference between the contractions. What seems to work for me is a anal contraction (the one that pulls in, maybe it's rectal) first then a PC contraction. It's hard to explain but something about the way I can do it makes it almost stroke the prostate by pushing the Helix more forward instead of up. Anyway on to last night.

So last night I did everything mentioned above and put my laptop and the bed and checked out that beautifulagony.com website I read about in a previous post. That seemed to help a lot. For a while I just laid there and did nothing. When I do "nothing" I am actually contracting. But it's strange because they are not "involuntary" but I'm not necessarily doing them on purpose. I kind of do them whenever I "feel the need to," but other than that I'm just lying there if that makes any sense. Are these the involuntaries?

Anyway I did that for a while and started to get some good feelings. Sometime in the middle of one of the movies something happened. My heart started pounding and I could feel a pulse in my prostate. My body got a strange sensation of energy flowing through it. It definitely felt like something was coming. But impatient me start hammering away on contractions and I think I got too excited and it subsided.
I re-inserted 2 more times and brought back a tiny bit of what I experienced by doing really light contractions but but nothing more than that.

One question though. I'm not the tallest guy in the world and was wondering if I should give the SGX a try. Actually make that two questions. I have a problem with the abundment tab always moving off center to the right, even when the area is dry. I read that the aneros sort of goes where it needs to so I usually leave it. Any suggestions on my questions or feedback on my story would be appreciated.

Hi Semaj,

Hmmmmmmmmm. 12 times in 7 months. My feeling is that you may have to use it a little bit more often so your body can get used to it. It sounds like your body could get to like the Helix based on your recent response. If you combined more frequent usage with subtle contractions I bet you could ride the Aneros home.

But, I am a newbie too. So, just my experience.

first off- great post... very well written and very clear. i knew exactly what you were talking about. 2nd, i also think you need to be having more sessions, primarily because you need to strengthen your PC muscles. i think this is part of the reason it takes some people a long time and others a short time to feel results; depends on their PC muscle strength. at first its difficult to know how to properly work the PC muscle because you cant even really feel it but after a while it starts to feel like you actually have a new muscle, just like any other, growing down there. having this muscle in good shape allows you to really manuever the aneros until you can find the 'sweet spot' via contraction and then hold it right there continuesly. regarding you involuntary question, i have wondered the exact same thing and am also curious to know... (im also a newbie). g'luck!

Enemagra,

I have been following your posts with interest since I bought my Helix about a month after you obtained your MGX.

On PC contractions, I read as much as I could find on Kegels and the PC Muscle. Some of the articles went so far as to say that males could not exercise their PC muscle. For me, whenever I have any substance to my penis or when before I urinate, I take the time to move ever so slightly the PC muscle hoping it is strengthening. But, what do you recommend or others recommend on how to exercise the PC muscle? You are right that many of the forum threads talk about the importance of the PC contraction but for me, with the Helix inserted, and a flacid penis, any PC contraction possibility seems hopeless. Any thoughts?

Also, from your threads, have you had more excellent sessions? Or figured out the secret (for you) of obtaining them?

Semaj,

Your experiences sound very similar to mine before I had my breakthrough. Take comfort in knowing that when I was experiencing what you were, I was very close. The feeling of energy is what you are looking to sustain and build on(at least it was the key factor for me.) This will eventually lead to the orgasmic release. It is wonderful, and I can't get enough. It gets easier and easier to achieve each session, and it seems to get even more intense! What could be better then an orgasm that leads you to a more intense orgasm next time! Pleasure that builds on itself! Wow!

With a little more work at your stage, I was able to generate that sensation fairly consistantly and easily. What was frustrating was all the new pleasurable feelings that started to accompany it. Very warm throbbing in my penis and prostate, tingling on my anus, and the warm energy like waves you described. The minute I focused on one, I would lose the others. I also worried to much about how hard and what to contract. Basicly, you need to relax and let it do its thing. Keep breathing, the aneros may be moving even if you don't realize it. Don't look for movement or focus on any that happens, just let it feel good. When those waves start rolling it will do all the work for you if you let it.

wow, i had an intense session last night! i felt like i was dancing RIGHT on the 'crossover line' for hours. it felt like i was slowly walking through some magical mirror, out of the physical world and into a world of pure euphoria. but everytime i felt like i was about to go over the top, id almost 'shy away' like i wasnt quite prepared yet. i now believe that you can create different levels of super o based on the depth of your relaxation and level of mindlessness. last night i didnt think about ANYTHING. no contractions, no mindfull focus on anything, just deep, deep, almost meditative relaxation. everytime the energies started to build and build, and then eventually die right before i was sure id cross over, all i could do to bring them back was take some deep breaths, release ALL tension and start relaxing again. it may sound like this was a frustrating experience, but this is certainly not the case. im sure this was a very long drawn out mini-o. it wasnt orgasm powerfull, more like a very pleasureable body-buzz. i dont even think i was ready for the big o last night. i actually had what you might call 'sexual adrenaline rushes' everytime id almost cross over and then almost be relieved that i didnt cross over (into super-o). ive tried various techniques to get the ball rolling but from now on ALL my focus (or lack of focus) will be based on reaching that deep 'meditative' state where your emotions and arousal are hightly linked to your thoughts and mindstate. i noticed last night that when it felt like i was reaching the super-o point, id think i should start doing some contractions only to realise that the aneros was already completely dug in on its own. i think this really verifies the point that the aneros can work on its own if you let it. in terms of the involuntary contraction question i mentioned before... last night i DID have completely involuntary contractions. it wasnt, as the first post implied, just an irresistable urge to contract, but a completely involuntary contraction that i didnt see coming at all. i really support the notion that you shouldnt focus on involuntaries... in fact, from now on im going to completely forget about them. by the time i had these contractions i was already experiencing a very strong buzz and they didnt really feel out of place at all. i think that if you are in a state of mind where you are capable of thinking about contractions and how to achieve them, your not going to experience any at that moment. just focus on deep relaxation and building some deep sexual adrenaline to power the session. im now very confident that ill 'cross over' when the time comes. i believe it IS a process that takes practice... not just a matter of knowing exactly what to do. once im able to relax enough that im ready for it to happen, im sure its just going to happen on its own. good luck to all!

ps. as i write this, i have wonderfull 'energy' feelings left over from last night crawling all over me... man im happy i bought the aneros! i dont see it as a 'sex toy'. its much too important to be called a toy!

Dear Enemagra,

It sounds to me like congratulations are in order. From what I read of your description, I will bet that what you experienced was in fact a Super O. It certainly was long enough and it sounded pretty intense. I had some wise people here in the forum (Charlie & Nood) have to tell me that I was experiencing a Super O when I thought that I was only circling it. My expectations were of a traditional orgasm that has some kind of release to it...like an ejaculation. My experience is that you just hang there as wave after wave hit you. All I can say is that it is an experience unlike a traditional orgasm. Where it lacks in specific point intensity (penis), it engulfs your entire body. That magic can and does last up to an hour and then can be brought back into action within seconds.

Ofcourse, I could be wrong, I wasnt there. It sounds like a great time either way. Keep at it and let us know how these next few sessions go for you.

Have a good time.

Buster

wow, big thanks buster! your comment really caught me off guard, and i think youre exactly right! what i was expecting last night was to eventually have a 'switch' go off and all of a sudden be completely electric, where as it sounds like you just have to keep fueling the energy until it reaches that point. i think that knowing what i achieved last night was in fact the super-o will really help me make it bigger and better because there should be even less anticipation now and i can focus on enjoying what im already capable of more and more rather than trying to create something different and better. im really excited now to keep at it because im sure ive past the point of wondering if im ever going to get there, and instead im very anxious to see how... lets say... wickedly, deliciously, marvelously good i can make it. haha wow, you really have to get poetic in order to express what the aneros is like!
now that im confident that im right on track i feel much more confortable giving advice. so heres my analogy of what i believe was the key to my success last night:
i see it as being similair to building a big roaring fire. you have to start small with the key elements in order to get a base. in the case of the aneros, this would be getting into a deep, relaxed state and becoming aware of the energies present in your pelvic area. now that you have something to work with you have to handle it gently so that it doesnt go out. with a fire, you have to fan or blow on it to give it air. with the aneros you breathe deeply along WITH the sensations to make them grow. as with a fire, too much effort makes it go out... you cant smother the sensations with too much attention. delicately fuel them with lower abdonimal breathing. the bigger the sensations get, the 'harder' you can breath with them. this was exactly what went through my head last night... treat the sensations delicatly, dont smother them. let THEM grow on their own and simply aid them along.

secondly, i think 'over-informing' yourself on the aneros is also counter productive. collect information to get a solid SENSE of what to do... let the SENSE be your guide through the process, not specific bits of information. this is not a TECHNICAL process but rather something mental and possibly spiritual. i think if there is one word to use as almost a mantra throughout your sessions it would be EMBRACE... embrace EVERY sensation that comes along whether it feels natural or not. this is something completely different than what most people would be used to and in effect, you have to 'learn to enjoy it', like the first time you eat sushi, before you can manipulate it and truly benefit from it.

well, after writing all that i could definately jump into a session right now but i have plans in an hour and that will certainly not be enough time to wrap things up! as always, good luck, and keep optimistic!

Hi Enemagra,

Glad I could help. Pass it along and help whomever you can with their journey.

I recall it as a relief once I realized for myself that I had actually achieved the Super O. Because the journey for some is so long in getting there, it is just a load off of your mind. Now that the monkey is off your back on getting there, your sessions are just going to start to cook! Dont be disappointed if you dont hit it out of the park every time. It does not happen that way. I have found that my body almost speaks to me when it is the most receptive. I am lucky enough to be able to slip into mini o's in almost any situation and have played with that. The other day, I was sitting at my desk at work and I had a full body shot that got me breathing pretty wierd. The guy sitting across from me gave me a bit of a stare, but what the hell? Live and let live.

Have a great time. Start up a blog so you can track your progress. Sorry you have plans tonight. Try to cut out early!

Thanks for your responses everyone. I think I should definitely have more sessions (tonight actually) and I am happy to hear that many of you were where I am at just before "the big one." Does anybody have any input on my questions though? The on about the tab moving to the right and switching to the SGX.

Thanks

Dear Semaj,

In response to your questions, I think that if you have 7 months into one model that maybe it might be a good idea to expand your stable. My opinion would be to get the MGX. You will find that the tab on that model really does come into play more than the Helix. Maybe you having the experience of the MGX will kick things into a higher gear for you. As I have mentioned in my blog, the MGX has gotten to be the front runner for me. As I got each model that I now own, I had some pretty exciting first sessions with them. I think that it did move things along for me.

The tab on my models always moves to just left of center for my best sessions. When things get moving, it is hard to keep it on one place at times. I have had to move it back from time to time. I have always thought that the things should be sitting at dead center. It does not seem to work that way with me. I would have to be laying completely still to get it to stay there.

I hope that helps you in your quest.

Buster

Hello Enemagra,

What you are stating is so correct. You will be having the best of the world in coming days. What you have said, you should be having some mind blowing journeys. Once all of your muscle groups become stronger and your breathing becomes second nature, you're off to the races. Remember to always try new positions and the great suggestions that you may read in these blogs. Have fun during your sessions. Everytime will not be mind blowing! Some will be duds, but one learns a lot from each. Try and strengthen your p.c. muscles while at work or wherever you may be. I have really noticed how mine have become a lot stronger, which helps me have explosive super o's. Hope this helps. Have a good experience finding the way. Enjoy each time giving yourself pleasures. Peace, Nood
