Injecting Lube. Is it important? What should I use?

I usually lube up with Slippery Stuff, then insert/take out the aneros 5 or 6 times so that it's sliding in really easily.

Still after a short time, I go to check on it, and it feels kind of stiff in there, like it's dried out.

I added silicone lube too, which helps a bit...

I'm wondering if I should inject some lube. If so, where do I get something to inject it with?
