Hello guys,
I've found this site, and it's pretty amazing. It basically plays a 15 minute loop of rain with some thunder sounds. High quality sound.
I have found this to be quite relaxing when I listened to it during one of my sessions.
Check it out and let me know what you think! 😀

This is great Rdr, thanks. I always like a good rain storm. Too bad I can't figure out how to get it to my iPod.
That's such a coincidence, I just started doing the same thing. Very relaxing.
Guys,
For those of you who would like to put together your own rainstorm, I can recommend you go to ”thefreesoundproject" to download some free soundbites from 30 sec. to 30 mins.
Funny enough it's actually pouring here in my area right now, with crazy thunderstorms
Or better yet....record your own! I have a friend who has library of high quality ambient sounds that he's captured with a portable digital audio recorder. This one is called the Zoom

The sounds of rain.... are well, just short of therapeutic. But the sound of thunder brings back memories of a traumatic event in my childhood. While watching a thunder and lighting storm come up and cross near by, we watched as our house was struck by lightning with us in it. We saw the bolt that hit our house drop from the heavens. Balls of fire, broken electrical fixtures, and peaces of heirloom china plates that used to hang on the wall, were bouncing around the living room. The attic and inside the walls set ablaze. The fire was quickly extinguished, and insurance paid for the repair work.
Flash forward about 10 years. While hiking the green mountains of the Long Trail we ran into a nasty weather pattern. Yup almost daily thunder and lighting storms. I was given a lesson on how to confront ones fears. Years later I still do not appreciate thunder and lightning storms, But they no longer hold any power over me. But to this day I have no idea why a Rain storm (with out the thunder) makes me so horny!
Tina Turner had a hit with "I can't stand the rain."
I saw her perform that one in Wembley many years ago.
One morning I set off early to drive back home.
The sky turned black about dawn, looked as if it would rain ink.
A thunderstorm erupted and a bolt of lightning struck the road about 6 foot in front of me.
I drove the 300 miles home without stopping.
We get many fierce storms here during the monsoon.
I enjoy them.
Natures fireworks.
