I've had stale periods were the sessions were less than stellar, and usually they never got back to good until I bought a new Eupho Syn or Helix Syn.
I'd test the rigidity of the tab of my existing one compared to the new one and found the new one was much stiffer.
I finally got a regular, non silicone coated Eupho and holy cow! The tab is so much more ridig, the sessions are so much better. The responsiveness of the Aneros is so much better. I use the do nothing method almost exclusively and all it takes is the prostate to get hungry for stimulation, some muscles move a bit and things start to happen.
If you are having troubles in general or have gone stale and only use the silicone covered model, get the original non coated version.
Hmm I've had the idea of this before but decided it was irrelevant. Personaly I've always love Syn over the original much much more. But right now the normal Helix is only $30 on amazon so I'll get it next week. Also I may get a new Syn to see if my current really is looser or more used. I hope I like the classic, I didn't like how the eupho classic felt.
I have had the same experience: when changing from helix syn to helix classic, i noticed much more was happening down there in terms of involuntary contractions and pleasure. For me , it was the rigidity of the p tab (and the aneros as a whole) that seemed to make a difference: because of the rigidity, it pushes harder into my perineum, which feels better and creates more intense feelings. The do nothing' technique works for me as well. Enjoy your rides!
Seems like all methods would benefit from more movement with less effort.
If the ptab has less "give", then it stays more stationary while the aneros rocks easier toward the prostate.
The classic versions seem like it will take a lot of pressure to wear out it's rigidity.

I have had good results from both classic and syn versions of the Helix. I have never understood why the p-tab is so flexible on the syn, comfort I guess. I have never thought the p-tabs on any of the Aneros models to be uncomfortable. Makes me very curious what a more rigid p-tab would be like on the syn versions.
