If it's best to avoid penile stimulation when attempting to rewire, are there any other limits regarding penile "considerations"? Let me flesh out this question a little more...

I recently had my first taste of what prostate stimulation can offer through using a Helix (I have used a Progasm in the past as well, but never found myself responding much to it), and during the session I kept wondering if there were advisable limits to integrating the penis. I had no real problems keeping my hands off of it, but I was a bit hesitant to stimulate its immediate surroundings, because I was not sure if that would bring sensual focus back on a location I have been solely concerned with for years. More pressing, however, was this concern: is it counter-productive to fantasize about things being done to my penis during the rewiring period? It is naturally difficult to ignore its presence within fantasies, and my attempts to ignore it seemed detrimental to the entire experience due to the amount of effort I placed in turning my mental eyes (so to speak) away from it. I can only assume that this form of stress diminishes potentials, but I could be wrong.

For those of you who have some insight, could you please advise me? Is it permissible to encourage arousal by imagining occasional penile stimulation?*

* Note: Penile-based fantasies are not a staple for me by any means; I just wish to know whether or not their inclusion would be detrimental.

Essence- IMHO the lack of direct penile stim refers only to the PHYSICAL manipulation of the penis. By all means FANTASY during sessions is highly encouraged; I have had MANY fantasies which involved penises: mine, a 'loving' partner, a third-party! Don't inhibit these fantasies! Let your mind experience all the mental stimulation it desires! You may be surprised at the fantasies your mind will create with Aneros use! (I am a straight guy but have had many gay fantasies involving other males). Also, you can't 'force' a fantasy; just let it 'play-out' in your mind as you fall deeper into the Aneros session. Once the fantasy 'establishes' itself, just hold onto it and let it 'play-out' That is what I do. You may find that your penis becomes erect and then flaccid during some of these fantasies as they can be extremely arousing. That is okay.

Remember, a fantasy exists only in the mind and nowhere else!

If I have learned anything during my 10+ years of Aneros use its that everyone is different. All the advice given selflessly by dedicated members here is valuable and very important, but it should only be considered a starting point. Each of us needs to read the forums, talk in chat with peers, consider what you discover and figure out what works for you as an individual with your own physical, mental and emotional make up. That is the beauty of this forum and the wonderful people at Aneros who have put it up for us. What you are doing Essence is exactly what you need to do, question and consider and now experiment.

For me at the start of my Aneros journey I was given the advice that I should avoid any contact with my penis during a session, so I did. For 6 months I struggled and got nowhere. It was only after I listened to someone’s advice, considered it and tried it that I had success. That advice was to sleep with it in. I did and at 4 am I had my first super O.

Looking back now after all this time I figured two things out about myself: first is that despite the fact that I am a pretty adept super o practitioner it is very - very hard for me to experience any prostate orgasms unless I do them between 2-4 AM. The other thing I learned is that I had success only when I laid face down on the mattress and pressed my cock cleft against the sheets. More recently I have taken to doing sulcus (cock cleft) massage and simultaneous nipple massage to achieve extremely intense super os that make clear precum flow in a stream from my lurching cock.

That example demonstrates the two pieces of advice given to me, had different results: one worked and the other didn’t. It was only after I considered them and tried them and experimented that I found a path that worked for me.

So keep inquiring Essence and keep experimenting. Test every approach and discard ones that don’t work and use the ones that do. There is no universal magic pathway, there is only what works for us as individuals. Aneros is the ultimate Existential experience.

lingaman Thank you for your insight, well said. We are indeed fortunate to have this forum as it provides seminar like knowledge and coaching to all of us. The Aneros journey is wonderfully complex and personal. So this forum, with all of it's tidbits of assistance, truly helps us find(or maybe regain) our path.

What is sulcus, cock cleft? I've tried to look at instruction videos on this but not found a thing

Thank you both for your thoughtful responses. It is good to know that others have not found penile-based fantasies hindrances to the re-wiring process. Simply knowing this will allow me to relax much more.
