That is what I have been using to live my Aneros toys for about 5 years. Great stuff!

It is sold as a makeup remover but is actually the BEST masturbation lubricant EVER!!!

Albolene has been discussed as a possible lubricant before on this Forum. The reason it has not been generally endorsed as an anal/rectal lubricant is based upon safety concerns regarding the internal absorption of these petroleum based ingredients from long term, repeated use as is the case for Aneros users.

Albolene Ingredients

1.) Mineral oil is a petroleum based product, generally considered safe but has laxative effects similar to glycerine.

2.) Petrolatum is a petroleum based product, generally considered safe for topical use, however, from Healthline.com, "Dangers of Petroleum Jelly : While petroleum jelly has many benefits, it should be for external use only. Do not eat or insert petroleum jelly. Avoid using petroleum jelly for masturbation or as a vaginal lubricant. According to Reuters, a study of 141 women found that 17 percent used petroleum jelly internally and 40 percent of them tested positive for bacterial vaginosis. ...Allergies: Some people are more sensitive and can develop allergies if they use petroleum-derived products."

3.) Paraffin is a petroleum based product, the wax form is generally considered safe for topical use, it may cause an allergic 'heat rash' in sensitive individuals.

4.) Ceresin is a mineral wax derived from coal and shale, it is generally considered safe for topical use.

5.) Beta-carotene is a red/orange pigment found in many fresh fruits and vegetables, it is a carotenoid compound, an antioxidant and is converted to vitamin A in the body, generally considered safe for internal consumption.

As far as I know there have not been any long term studies of the health effects of Albolene when used as a sexual lubricant so it may or may not be safe to use. Personally, I choose to minimize my exposure to petroleum based products in favor of natural organic compounds when possible. Good Vibes to You !

So regarding albolene, if this stuff is absorbed into the body does it accumulate or does it get removed either via urine (unlikely?) or through excretion?

Does anyone KNOW what happens to it once albolene is inside our body>

Hmm, and I was just about to ask if I couldn't sub paraffin for the beeswax in a natural jelly recipe. Guess that answers that.
