Not sure if the timer would be my thing, but.... NOT ejaculating after each session was certainly a milestone for me. My sessions really seemed to take off from this point along with earnestly starting a Kegal regime. Every few weeks a wet-O is a treat instead of a routine thing; much more satisfying for me. I haven't actually used a timer but I've thought about it. For me at least, when I let a session drag on because I want to orgasm I am way more likely to jerk myself off. I try and wrap up my sessions after about an hour unless I'm on a roll.
